Well I think they are trying to keep the exclusivity to the people who spent money to attend D23 and Comic-Con. Interesting that it only leaked from Comic-Con....if anything maybe they won't show exclusives there again.

The Civil War footage from D23 2 years ago never leaked which I thought was very impressive....they skipped comic con that year.

I originally thought Cap would die but based on that trailer and seeing SpiderMan this makes sense. Either way, one or both of them needs to die (for storytelling sakes obviously).

Tony makes a better case to me since he started the MCU and has kinda played his character out. It would be good to see him pass the Iron Man torch.

Rogers makes a case outside of the MCU because Evans seems like he's kinda ready to pass the torch.

I just don't see how Marvel/Disney will willingly kill both of them.

I think that Cap will definitely die before this is all said and done. I don't know about Tony though. He seems like a character that could make quick appearances in the movies moving forward. It almost seems to obvious to kill Tony off.

Perhaps they all die and strange rewinds things. I can see a scene where stark prompts strange to use the time stone and strange says something like 'i already have been, he is too powerful'

I don't think Cap will die because I think they'd try and do Secret Empire at some point, but if they age him up they can put him on the sidelines as old man Cap for a while while the Secret Invasion stuff starts with Captain Marvel.

Plus the fact that some of the Avengers could be Skrulls will make recasting an easier thing to understand.

Rewatching these by release date. Iron Man was such a great start to the MCU. WOrking on Hulk now. Don't recall hating it too much when I saw it a while ago so we'll see how it holds up after 8 years or so

I gotta say I'm really kinda bummed to what sure seems like final confirmation that Nick Fury won't be in EITHER Infinity War movies. He says he hasn't heard from those guys about anything for awhile (in fact while they claimed at CC that Fury would be in Captain Marvel, he said he's not signed a contract yet and the project just changed writers completely). granted, I know from the last of what we've seen it's not like it's immediately obvious for the way he'd roll back into the story right now, but still. c'mon, "the culmination of the entire saga since the start of Iron Man" yada yada yada. Fury was the friggin guy to bring the Avengers together in the first place. He's not going to get a single moment in the grand finale??

I wouldn't trust anything he says. If he's in it they'd obviously want to keep his roll under wraps.

If he's in Captain Marvel it's obvious they're not moving on from the character. So I'd say it's likely he'll be in at least 4.

for what it's worth, there's a lot of rumors that the Capt Marvel script is getting a fairly significant rewrite from what they did. Not saying they won't be using Skrulls anymore at all, but...

and as far as the "keeping actors secret", I mean sure I could be wrong, but the Russos don't really do that kind of thing. that an active disinformation campaign with an actor just for the sake of a surprise appearance. and hell, if Fury already wasn't in Civil War, a film all about this team he corralled together arguing with each other...

Did Marvel get the rights to the Skrulls back? I thought they were a Fox property?
