Seeing that Fantastic Four is still in phase 4 (as per the wiki at the moment), I would have my doubts that Blade will be in '23 if it's part of phase 5.

I could be wrong, but it seems like a '24 thing.
The release schedule has shifted multiple times. Blade is filming next month. Fantastic 4 is still searching for a director after Watts dropped out, and they don’t even have a cast or a screen writer attached.

Maybe it all comes together quickly, but Blade could be done filming before F4 even hits pre-production. I wouldn’t be shocked if Deadpool 3 also films before F4 as we have a confirmed director and writers.

You guys think at some point Disney goes the Star Wars route with Marvel and has a MarvelCon to announce movie dates/news? They haven’t really had any but announcements since ComicCon 2019. Sure there’s Disney+ Day but that’s only for shows.

Regardless if it’s Blade, F4, or something else. I’m surprised there’s MCU movies a little over a year away and we don’t know what it is.

    Great news!

Curious how much Marvel will be apart of Disney+ Day on the 8th if they’re having the panel on the 10th. Justin Kroll from Deadline floated there wouldn’t be a F4 director decision before Labor Day: https://twitter.com/krolljvar/status...MimcIlbOyWQe8g

I wonder if they’re aiming to reveal that news there.

This movie has been rumored for a while, but there was no indication it was this close. I’m kind of curious if they recast Ross, with the passing of William Hurt, or if Red Hulk is off the table now. Plus the group is named after him.

Marvel’s ‘Thunderbolts’ Movie Taps Jake Schreier As Director
    Quote:
EXCLUSIVE: Marvel Studios’ top-secret Thunderbolts movie looks to have gained momentum as Deadline has learned that Jake Schreier is set as director of the new Marvel tentpole. Black Widow scribe Eric Pearson is penning the script with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige producing.

Not much is known about the plot of film other than it revolved around a group of supervillains (or at least characters who have played bad guys at one point in MCU) who go on missions for the government. Another element that remains vague is which character will be part of this team since the film it technically still is in development, though sources say Marvel has been in touch with certain individuals who already are part of the MCU to make sure to keep an opening in their schedules for next summer when it shoots.

That said, some of the characters that potentially could be starring or making some sort of appearance include Baron Zemo, Yelena Belova, Ghost, Taskmaster, The Abomination, US Agent and the Winter Soldier.

General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross is also a possibility since he is the person in the comics who assembles the first team — hence the name — but that is unconfirmed as no deal for any actor has closed.

While the town has been buzzing about The Fantastic Four directing search quietly , which has only begun meeting potential candidates, the studio has been focused on Thunderbolts ODA, and according to insiders, Schreier presentation in recent weeks blew away execs and ultimately landing him the job.

Really interested to see Ant Man 3. The first two films have been relatively low stakes as it relates to the rest of the MCU universe but the Kang factor of #3 has me very interested.

I'm hearing buzz that Kang will appear in multiple things due to the shakeup after Loki S1, which makes sense. I like that direction. Not fully, but it's a cool direction.

I'm actually surprised he hasn't shown up yet. I was so sure he'd show up in Dr. Strange.

Maybe this is a very stupid question, but the different timelines in Loki are synonymous with the multiverse's in Dr. Strange / Spidey, right?

I'm a big fan of what Cretton did with Shang-Chi, and getting someone who wrote for 30 Rock, Community, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine sounds like their aiming for a comedy.

Nathan Fillion was going to cameo as Wonder Man in Guardians Vol. 2 but was cut in post-production. In a WandaVision featurette there was Wonder Man concept art shown in the background. So they've been thinking about this character for a while. I wonder if Fillion is still in play, or if they go another route.

Marvel Developing ‘Wonder Man’ Series with Destin Daniel Cretton, Andrew Guest (Exclusive)
    Quote:
Wonder Man is the latest Marvel superhero to get the screen treatment.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton has teamed up with Andrew Guest, a writer-producer on comedies such as Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Community, to tackle a live-action series featuring the longtime Marvel character.

Guest will serve as head writer of the series, while Cretton will exec produce and possibly direct an episode or more. Cretton is working via his overall deal with Marvel Studios, signed late last year in the glow of Shang-Chi’s success.

Development for what is being titled Wonder Man is in the early stages, but if things crackle, cameras could be rolling in 2023.

Wonder Man is one of Marvel’s oldest characters, first introduced in 1964 in the pages of Avengers No 9. He was initially a villain and only appeared sporadically in the early Marvel Age, until being reconceived as a hero (and Avenger) in the late 1970s.

In the 1980s the character really came into his own. Known as Simon Williams, he was a founding member of the Los Angeles-based West Coast Avengers and, with a look that included a turtleneck, a red jacket and sunglasses, became a celebrity thanks to his day job as an actor and stuntman.

The character also developed strong ties to classic (and now, thanks to Marvel movies and an Emmy-winning series, globally-known) characters Vision and Wanda/Scarlet Witch. Stories tied him to the android via ionic energy and brainwaves that implied the two were akin to brothers. Wonder Man even developed feelings for Wanda, after Vision had been dismantled.

Takes on the character for the Disney+ series were not revealed. Marvel could steer the character down a Hollywood lane, so far unexplored in the MCU, or it could set him up in the Wanda-Vision lane, something the company has continued to explore, even with its latest blockbuster, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. There is even a WandaVision spin-off show in development featuring Agatha Harkness, the villain played by Kathryn Hahn.

THAT Kang died. He even said to Sylvie "See you soon" and gave her that wink, which was so fucking ominous I loved it.

The obvious answer is Secret Wars, but glad a little bit of clarity it coming soon.

Kevin Feige says we’ll hear more about Marvel’s next big saga "in the coming months"
    Quote:
Kevin Feige has a plan. He always does. As part of the new Total Film cover feature on Thor: Love and Thunder, the Marvel Studios president has teased that some answers are coming sooner rather than later.

"As we’re nearing the end of Phase 4, I think people will start to see where this next saga is going," confides Feige in the new issue, which hits shelves on June 23.

"I think there have been many clues already, that are at least apparent to me, of where this whole saga is going. But we’ll be a little more direct about that in the coming months, to set a plan, so audiences who want to see the bigger picture can see a tiny, tiny, tiny bit more of the roadmap."

There are Morbius dvds for rent at Blockbuster.

    Awesome!!!!

Please give a review and try the $5k drink in the Star Wars bar.

For real though we have a Disney Cruise in our plans in a couple years when our youngest is old enough to throw in the kids club.

The kids clubs look awesome. I’m totally gotta “escort” my kid to the Star Wars one

I saw a video of the $5,000 drink it looks like it’s 3 shots
