Gonna say thats unlikely.

If they havent done any goose vinyls in a year+ I doubt something like this is high on their list of priorities.

Well, they've definitely prioritized studio output (and variants), but I do think a live Goose comp is likely in the works based on some rumblings I've seen/heard. Vinyl production is still pretty badly impacted by pandemic, along with the lacquer-house fire from pre-pandemic, and then things like priority at the plants for Taylor Swift's 500,000 copies of her newest album with 10 variants or whatever.

If we do get a Goose release on vinyl, I'd think something similar to Alive & Well rather than a partial single-show comp like Buffalo '19, but there is also a chance for a box-set 4-6LP type release of a full show I guess.

Looking like this Orebolo release will be available on vinyl. Not sure when but I saw something about it. 100% getting this

The Atlanta Arcadia through Dripfield is nuts. Some of the best playing I’ve heard in a while IMO

It’s Rick, Peter, and Jeff from Goose. Jeff is a percussionist with the band but plays upright bass with Orebolo. They’re sometimes casually referred to as agoosetic hah.

That makes sense. I listened to it in the gym and thought it was Goose, then they said "We are Orebolo" at the end and I was like WTF? Who was I listening to?

Shipping rate is killer, especially because it seems like USPS prices have fallen recently. Shipped a few things via media mail last week and it was back down to $2.40-$3.00 per album.

I assume it’s the standard rate via Qrates funded projects though and the band doesn’t have much say in that.

I think $40 might be a bit steep but I also figure the press count/run on this is low, which at this scale is definitely a bit pricier.

Yea I just don’t think I can drop $50+ on a 2 LP 10 track live album. Streaming on Apple Music throughout the house was great yesterday so I’ll stick with that I guess.

So happy they’re doing it regardless

Yeah, if you're not a completionist/collector, digital streaming is the way to go here. It's unlikely it was specifically mastered for vinyl, the source is digital, and I have no idea which pressing plant they are using but it's unlikely to be a top tier one.

That all said, I'm a vinyl hoarder and couldn't resist.

Great vinyl day yesterday, snagged this and a small restock of Billy String Turmoil/Tinfoil on blue vinyl.

Also hearing the rumblings begin for BTCS, which...who knows what comes of that with how DMB world works

Probably not my best use of $50 but I bought the Orebolo vinyl. I thought they were only making 500 of them and that it’d be cool to have. I guess I should’ve figured they’d be more money if there were only 500 haha. Anyway, cool release. Just loving all this band is doing to grow and engage fans.

Even though it's not a hard cap, these are going to see some serious secondary market value after they end the campaign and get them shipped.

Looking back to conversations we had in here about Buffalo '19 and Ted Tapes vinyl, we definitely undershot the projection for secondary market prices.

I’m a pretty causal fan and had no idea what Orebolo was before reading this thread lol. But sound on Spotify is decent so I bought since I don’t have any live Goose records.

The lyrics to Time to Flee used to bug me but I think it’s one of my favorite Goose songs now. Especially love 10/18/2019 version.

Time to Flee is just such a fun and light lyrical content song, and they’ve jammed some heat into it on many occasions
