How do you get all your gear there? Do you check it all? I’ve had so many bad luggage experiences that I hate the idea of checking anything (I literally packed in only a carryon for a 2.5 week trip to Europe because of this!). We camp for one weekend and end up having an entire minivan full of stuff. I just can’t wrap my head around how we could get even half that amount of stuff across the country! I’d love to hear your system for some ideas!

if you can travel europe for 2.5 weeks with only a carry on, you can absolutely camp at gorge with 2 checked bags and a carry on.

I'll give mine since I'm solo:
1 LARGE army style duffel bag with all my clothes, bedding, towel, & flagpole
1 Large cooler - tent, small airmattress, pump, misc gear, glowsticks, tarps, etc
I have one of my good friends that lives in seattle who can hold on to a few things for me, but you can buy a canopy online for $45 and pick it up when you pick up your groceries (that's if you even decide to make food, you can buy all your food on site). Same with camp chairs ($5-10).
