New Wilco songs! A couple of them are down as of now ("On and On and On" and "Let's Fight"), but I downloaded the rest of them. Wilco allows taping, so it's cool. I haven't listened to all of them yet, but so far, the sound quality sounds decent.

Anbody that needs a great Wilco show, and seriously, who doesnt?? I highly reccomend you sign up for viachicago and download one of the auditorium theatre chicago shows from a couple weeks back. Night 1 was a 2 1/2 hour classic epic. Plenty of new songs in the mix as well.

    great.

Jon Ice of dmb taping fame also has his Louisville Wilco recording up on viachicago. Very very niccce. Great show as well... ton of energy, I believe that one is Oct 8th. Wilco had a really strong Fall Tour, especially considering unfortunate circumstancers and timing of Jeff's mom passing. I wouldnt expect them to tour again until the album is completely done.

    March (allegedly).

Of the new songs, "Walken", "Is That the Thanks I Get" (which I had already heard on a late night show), and "Shake it Off" are my early favorites. Still haven't listened to all of them yet though.

I bought ghost is born i think like two years ago when it was sorta new and thought it was okay. i liked spiders(kidsmoke) a lot, but only a few others.
So i put wilco on my "listen to once in a while" list.

I got yankee hotel foxtrot about a month ago and first listened to it on a long drive the other weekend and must have just been in the right mood/state of mind because i loved it. i have a feeling once the whole thing really sinks in i'm going to go wilco crazy.. i'm excited.

kicking television is on its way from amazon!! although it was expensive, i do not mind spending a few bucks more than the norm for wilco. its a shame they arent as big as they should be, but in a way i kind of like how theyre not so they arent as subject to commercialization and selling out like dmb did after they got big.

I never really "got" Wilco, until I heard this album. Now they're one of my favs.

very nice... I guess this comes as somewhat unexpected, I saw Jeff solo up in Milwaukee on Oct 30th, and mentioned that they all needed and planned on taking a break after the chicago shows until the album comes out (though its nearly finished on their end) Perhaps playing solo shows is therapudic for Jeff at this time. It also mentions there are more dates to be added. I cannot think of a better way to keep warm in winter... I certainly hope there are more dates added closer to home. 3 dates apiece for TN and TX... you bastages!!! LOl, like I can ever complain for a lack of Wilco or Tweedy shows living in Chicago

i hope it isnt GA either... i like having a seat. when i saw them in NO for AGiB, i almost got the GA for the ground level but decided to get GA for the seats on the balcony. very glad i did too. i was EARLY like an hour or so probably and there was a huge line. i'm much to short to have seen anything at the concert if i had been down on the floor standing. lol

    Re: Wilco

I'm holding out for a Wilco full-band show. I've never been a huge fan of Tweedy solo.

OK, so i've had a few of the albums for a year or so, but never really paid much attention, until last night I heard Jesus etc., I LOVED it. The song is amazing.

Which other albums are in line with Jesus etc.? What would yall recommend?
