Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I have zero clue how I didn't know this, but I didn't know that Robert Rodriguez directed The Faculty. I've always been an apologist for that movie. It's way underrated.

Fight Club maybe? Or maybe that's just a twist rather than changing course.

Matchstick Men was a horrible movie, but I remember a dramatic shift from ho-hum Nic Cage is a dad or something, to an intense thriller.

I mostly blocked it out tho.

    Abducted in Plain Sight

What in the fuck did i just watch. I can’t belive something like this would actually happen to people in real life. Maybe it’s because it was the early 70s and people were still all about peace and live. Freaking nuts. Makes me almost glad that i dont have any children

yeah I'm not really sure one could say "changing course", when you look at the overall story. Plus there are just a ridiculous number of clues along the way to the twist.

boooooooooo. I mean I won't try to claim it's great, but it's good stuff. Though I'm a sucker for con man movies, and that was when Sam Rockwell was really starting to blow up. remember in these stories, there's always the con being done on the characters, and then the con being done on the audience.

Interesting story and Willem Defoe was outstanding, by my god, i found it incredibly boring. Tons of shaking from the camera. Just eh for me

Jesus. This was so good but fuck that hospital scene. As a father, this was very hard to watch.

Wow. This was incredible. Might even call it a masterpiece. I think the rip I watched had some bogus subtitles too but it didn't hurt the movie. Incredibly well shot and superbly acted. Also, Korean movies always kind of have some weird sex stuff included. (Thinking of you, The Handmaiden)
