This is why I need to stay out of this thread. I can thank Anne for getting the thought process rolling. Well, it will depend on if I can find a ride to bum, and a few other things....I will keep you posted if I can pull it off and if your tix are still available.

thanks for this info... anyone know if that swimming access is walkable from the campground? or if there are any hiking trails within walking distance? not sure we want to drive our rented RV all over the place, but definitely want to check out some of these spots.

and a somewhat related question - does anyone bring bikes with them to the campground? we've been trying to find a place in or around seattle where we can rent bikes to bring with us, with no luck. not even sure if it would be worth it to bring them...?

So you're the one that took them! I was about to jump on it cuz at that reduced price...I could probably swing it. But w/out having a ride secured at this point, I couldn't take the tickets. If it's meant to be, something else will pop up.

The husband finally landed a real, permanent job (not like the temp harvest position last year), but he just started on Mon., so no extra paycheck yet.

What do you think the problem was with the legal stuff? Other bands have live stream sites, right? I wouldn't see DMB having a problem w/ them streaming their live stuff that is available for free download anyways. They allow the tapers. I don't get it.

I think Anne is riding up with them. She was going to ask if they had the room for me too. A lot to coordinate last minute. And I don't even think I can really afford 3 nights of lawn, plus camping right now. So yeah, her tickets would have been the way to go.

I'm not quite sure. There's alot of opinions out there about why, with some of them making more sense than others. I think the label probably is irritated that we use it instead of buying the few live releases they put out. Either way, this really sucks

Yes...went to the winery last year. I did research and there are a few trails there. We didn't end up having time to check them out, since wine drinking time took over the hiking idea.

If you go to the winery's website, I think they have the descriptions and lengths of the various trails. Check them out! I definitely would if I make it up there.

Ridiculous. They release a lot of live stuff and I can't afford it all. And although I have a lot of their released live stuff, sometimes you want to hear that rare stuff that didn't get released, or just want to change it up.

I can't wait. since doors open at 4pm it doesn't seem like there will be time to do much in between nursing hangovers in the morning and then standing in line at the gate to get good lawn seats.

Exactly! I've got 70+ actual cds that I bought through the website. I don't think me listening to shows that aren't released via dmbstream is really hurting them. Whatever. I think the mayans were right - the world is ending this december.

Yes, Cave B. They had some good wines. Ha yes...just try your best to be hydrated and fed before you go to bed and then you'll be ready to rock when the winery opens (probably 10?).

I don't remember how early I'd get in line for lawn. It's been so long since I did lawn other than Bridge School shows. Ugh...lines are annoying. Although I did the line thing for all 3 nights at Berkeley since that was GA and a small venue. And that line was actually kinda fun.
