Anyone watch any of the “Golf Films” on Golf Channel? I’ve got the St. Andrews one on in the background while I’m working and suddenly I hear then intro to “Come On, Come On”… listen a little further and YUP, that’s DMB alright.

It’s like 10-15mins in. I heard that opening drum riff and I was like ‘waaaait a fucking minute!’. Then as the guitar comes in they start narrating over it again. I kept rewinding like ‘wtf, I know what that is what is it?!?!?!’… then I just let it play further and they got some of the chorus in there, etc.

Was just a weird place to hear that song.

Sounds like he grew late in life.

Something would really have to change to get big athletic kids into golf at young age. I’ve got a huge kid and a tall kid born into a golf crazed family, and I’ve never had a person tell me I need to put a golf club in their hand. Get told I have a future volleyball player or football player all the time.

I agree that we will have Generation Bryson/Berkshire on tour in a decade.

I don’t feel strongly about them either way I guess. I never considered them cheating, maybe it speeds up the pace of play.

I’m interested to hear from the players who relied on them and seeing what the impact is.
