I thought it was kind of nice of us to just completely give them that aspect of the game.

Special Teams sucks balls this season. Hopefully it doesn't come back to bite them in the postseason.

I have even less faith in them than usual because of this special teams fiasco. In a season that feels as wide open as any in recent memory, you have to tighten that shit up.

That was awful. ST is such a liability and I don't know how we fix it. For starters, it would be nice to get someone back there to simply fair catch every punt. Amari is scary as shit trying to catch punts.

The question now is: Do we rest Aaron and all the really important guys? I worry about the 2 week layoff making the team super rusty when they have to play again. Maybe play the Aarons and Davante for 1 quarter just to keep them somewhat in game shape for that one week off. What do you guys think?

I share that same concern. Sounds like Aaron and Davante do as well. Not the easiest decision to make, and I'll be the loudest voice in the room if we lose a starter to injury in a meaningless game. But that's A LOT of downtime.

Agreed... I think we need to trot out our starters for at least the first quarter, maybe even the first half. Can't play scared. Hopefully Rodgers can practice more leading up to the Divisional round. I'll be more concerned if he's only able to get in a couple of practices with the lengthy time away.

In Steno we trust. Hoping for a solid game out of our newly patched up O-Line. Would be super great to get a score on our first 2 drives of the game, even if they're quick hitters. Pair that with a couple 7+ minute drives into the endzone and it won't matter what SF does offensively.
