3/12 - Massive Attack, Sony Centre for the Performing Arts, Toronto, ON
5/24 - Bear's Den, Phoenix Concert Theatre, Toronto, ON
    7/12-13 - DMB, SPAC, NY

Had tickets to see Massive Attack in 1998 on the Mezzanine tour, touring with The Verve on their Urban Hymns tour. Massive Attack pulled out. 21 years later I finally get to see them on their Mezzanine anniversary tour. Stoked to see Bear's Den again too, saw them in 2013 on Gentleman of the Road tour but didn't know who they were so didn't pay attention.

It should be better than summer '18 tour since they won't be promoting CT, just like winter '18 was

How have you been liking DT since Portnoy's departure? The last album that I really enjoyed from them was Metropolis Pt. 2. Six Degrees was decent. Black Clouds had some good stuff too. I've much preferred the stuff Mike's been doing to DT since he left, but not all of it. The Flying Colors and Winery Dogs are my favorites for original material, while the Yellow Matter Custard Beatles project with Neal Morse and Paul Gilbert is a lot of fun.

The latest DT stuff just doesn't speak to me like they used to. I still love prog, but they seem to have lost something. Still amazing musicians, but the music isn't holding my interest, if it grabs my attention at all.

Still love em… they were definitely better with MP but I still enjoy what they are putting out. The concept album was meh, but the new songs I've heard from the album that drops next week are great. They are also playing Scenes from a Memory (their best album) in it's entirety on the upcoming tour. Really looking forward to that.

So Metropolis Pt 2? That's awesome! I see they're playing the Warner on April 15th...hmmm...

Haven't listened to the drops from the new album, I'll check them out today though.

Yup. First time I saw them was just after SFAM (Metropolis Pt2) was released so they were playing it in full then also. I honestly didn't expect them to do it again for the 20 year anniversary especially with a new album coming out... but they aren't the type of band that's afraid to sway from the norm (ehem… DMB).

The 3 new songs have some nice super heavy riffs. I'm a sucker for that stuff.

I haven't seen them in...well...umm...25 years or so. My old friends and I went to four shows during the tours after Images and Words came out. One of which was a special show at the Limelight in '93, where they played a Change of Seasons in its entirety for the first time live. Moore was still on keys and it was excellent.

It would be cool to see them again, but I'll have to see about the timing.

This show is essentially in DC. I will actually be in the DC like the week before these shows. If the shows were a week earlier instead, I would have gone to at least one of them!

Oh well, I’m seeing them 2 times this summer!

Germantown Performing Arts Center sent out an email talking about their upcoming season. The Flecktones show was one of 3 or 4 shows that are part of their season passes. I'm sure whatever doesn't sell to that will be put on general on sale.

Wow. That's a must hit. I saw Bela with Edgar Meyer and Zakir Hussain there last year and it was so good. Thanks for the heads up!

Not gonna lie, half the reason I check this thread is just to see who's on tour that I didn't know about. Just found another show to add to my list b/c of someone's list!
