Just got the MRI results from the other day. Multiple tears in my shoulder, including one in my rotator cuff. No surgery, but also no tennis anymore for the foreseeable future; have to start rehab/PT on Monday.

Really fucking sucks. I have a feeling I'm going to gain 30lbs in this period.

I do this all the time. Soon as I see the wave I look away and act like I didn't see it, then wave them through. I love it when someone pulls up behind them and blows their horn.

Don't let it get you down. Good PT can get you back to your baseline or even improve upon that baseline. Or...












































If you really apply yourself you can gain 50!

Sorry to hear about the shoulder though man. My pops just had rotator cuff surgery a few months ago... he told me this past weekend if he knew the recovery would've been this long, restrictive, etc. he wouldn't have done it. He was supposed to have the other one done and he just said 'fuck it... I'll deal with the pain rather than not being able to lift my arm'.

Sounds silly and like what my dad would typically say about that kinda thing, although he did actually have surgery on both rotator cuffs. He definitely dreaded going into the 2nd one.

But yeah typically he'll just be like I'll just live with this shittiness the rest of my life.

Yeah, I don't think he'll ever have the other one done. He had his left done... he's right handed and he's a carpenter. He just won't put his hammer swinging arm out of order for an extended period of time.

Had reconstructive shoulder surgery after a dislocation during HS Wrestling. I did PT first, then while in college my shoulder dislocated easily and they decided surgery was the next step and I had the surgery that Christmas of '99. My shoulder has since dislocated itself several times since 2007 and I just pop it back in and go on. No way I'm going through that surgery again. It only hurts for a day after popping it back in.

The material library here at work has like 5-10 different tile manufacturers I could list off for ya.

the one we have has small splatterings of black here and there, swirls of different shades of brown...it has a a very textured surface so its almost non-slip, great for kids...and it doesnt show any dirt so you dont have to clean it all the time

This and the one converse linked are the trend, in the Boston area at least, because of exactly what you said. Textured to be more slip resistant and hides dirt and other things. Greys, grey stone and wood-look are also popular.
