I'll admit that I'm a little surprised that there are no more indictments. As BTB said, it's undeniable that they met with Russians.

That said, I had little expectation that the Seth Abramsons and Krassensteins of the world were gonna be proven right about how all of this stuff rolls up on Trump and sets him up for impeachment. That always seemed like incredible wishful thinking.

See this, right here, is why Dems are losers. We haven't seen a word from a "Mueller Report", and we've given up on an election that's 600 days away.

Gotta vote. The fact that his campaign clearly colluded, whether or not they get off free of charge, is not the only reason to oppose this President.

And anyone who based their entire political leanings on Russia is probably one of those "John Q voters" noted above.

Expanding on this: What was the point of giving Michael Cohen a deal? I hope we find out what he revealed. I'm guessing it was in exchange for being truthful about the Stormy payoffs.

Not really sure what this means...if you're saying the investigation was worthless you're objectively wrong. There's been like 30+ inducements, millions of dollars recovered, etc.

No further indictments doesn't mean shit didn't go down. We haven't seen the report; for all we know it'll outline a ton of the shit we already know, but thanks to our justice system, not enough evidence.

If the Democrats did not control Congress, I could see how someone could think that Trump is going to get reelected. We have many investigations to go.

I wonder how many of the witchhunt / Mueller is corrupt people are going to be telling us know that Mueller Report should be accepted because it was done by a fair minded individual.

Agreed. I am incredibly disappointed with the news unfolding, but not shocked.

But with that said, I hardly know the ins and outs of the Russia investigation. I think he absolutely obstructed justice, but the actual gritty details are so convoluted, I would be hopeless summarising everything up to this point. I listen to a lot of political podcasts and generally just tune out when they’re talking about Russia. When they’re talking about the actual issues, which this administration is consistently awful on, is when my ears are glued to the audio. So dumb to put all our eggs in the Russia basket - get to the fucking polls in 2020 and get this fucker out.

The thing I cared most about with Russia more than anything is that if Trump gets off, this man will get his state funeral and flag at half mast when he dies, and it makes me want to projectile vomit that such a vile scumbag will be given honors when he disgraced his position each and everyday regardless of what he did or didn’t do with Russia.

In non-Mueller news, and more local to us Pittsburghers in the thread, the officer in the Antwon Rose case was found not guilty.

For those unfamiliar, the officer shot and killed Rose as he ran from a traffic stop over suspicion of being involved in an earlier shooting. The officer shot the 17 year old 3 times in the back as he was running away. The officer said he believed Rose had a weapon, but he was found to be unarmed.
