was waiting on this thread. now it feels like a real tour

can't wait until 4 people chime in saying they're day one members, 3 of them don't get pits at their priority show, and we declare that 75% of all day one members don't get their requests!

Always be checkin' those temps. It's good to know that you were able to enter your credit card successfully and without any errors.

this is a good point. I'm nervous this year. I put my everyday credit card in originally, but then I got a targeted offer for extra points on certain purchases with a different card. so I changed it.

the problem is that the warehouse uses the first four digits of your cc as an identifier, rather than the last four. well, pretty much every visa issued by my bank has the same first four numbers. so that's not an identifier at all.

I finally broke down and got a Citi card for anything WH shuts me out of. But since I'm divorced now and only having to buy 1 ticket per show, I'm hoping buying singles will increase my chances of being confirmed and give me better seats.

Yeah, I made the Arkansas show my priority selection. I'm taking my daughter to her first show there and wanted to try and get decent seats.

How long do confirmations usually come out? Like 20 days after the tour announcement, right?

Just went over on stubhub for shits and gigs and there are actually lots of tickets for most dates already on there. Was there a venue presale or something that I missed or are these all venue season ticket holders listing their tickets?

I get that scalpers may list lawns or PIT tickets that they don't have yet (because they know they will be able to get them), but there are lots of tix with specific sections and rows.

yeah I know on Stubhub a lot of sellers will (or at least used to? not positive if it's still allowed) say something in the notes such as "your seats will be comparable or better to the Section and Row listed". Which opens up a whole nother can of worms... what if the buyer wanted to sit in that particular section?

This is weird, for the Arkansas show, I requested 2 pavilion tickets. When I go to ticket status, under #, it shows 0, and a ticket cost of 0.00.

When I go into order detail, and change # of tickets requested to 2, it says "If opting out of lower price level(s) you may only select the maximum number of tickets applicable to your order.”

The only way I can request 2 tickets is by unchecking the box to opt out of consideration for lawn tickets.

I'm very familiar with speculative listings or zone listings. I know stubhub is generally pretty strict against it. You see them all over Vivid seats, where it gives you a row range guarantee (like "your tickets will be between rows A-F in this section).

With stubhub, if you buy a ticket that doesn't perfectly match what you bought (even if they're technically better seats), the buyer can get some money back off their order if they don't match and my understanding is the seller can get penalized too. I assume most people would just be happy with the better seats but seems risky.

Will we know the exact seats via the WH sale before the Citi presale or the public sale?

    Thanks!

If my memory serves me, I believe you will know if you have PIT/Lowers/Uppers/Lawn prior to both sales, but will not know the exact row until well after the Citi & Public sales. And you will not know the exact seat until the warehouse tickets are shipped to you.

Stubhub says they don't allow it, but they love it. Speed to revenue, sell the same ticket multiple times, etc. If they wanted to stop it, stop allowing listings in the last row before tickets are available to anyone, and then allow the seller to "upgrade" the seats to a better row.

sorry to hear about your divorce. But wanted to say, having a Citi card comes in handy for shows for sure, especially for single tix. I've taken advantage of a lot of presales with it, especially DMB when not confirmed for WH tix. so feel good that you got one!

It definitely will help. I've noticed that sometimes ticketmaster only releases seats as singles, despite there being more than one seat next to each other. For instance, a few years ago, I could not pull a pair of decent seats for Jones Beach, but using ticketmaster on my phone and computer at the same time, I was able to pull two singles right next to each other.

I will likely be moving before the tickets ship. If I understand correctly, I can change my warehouse shipping address as long as I do so prior to tickets shipping?
