We may see some new music that wasn’t played early in the tour as well if the street date is in August. Of course, that’s just speculation from a fanboy over analyzing.

At the end of the day it’s all good.

Debating about making the trip out here from Columbus Ohio. The Denver area has me intrigued as I have never been. Curious what the demand is for these shows? Did they sell out in 2015? Was it hard to get pavilion seats? What about the PIT? Thanks in advance everyone.

If it was not sold out it was really close. PIT at this venue is super small. I didn’t try for PIT last time but I have to imagine they are hard to get considering how small the space is. I snagged pavilion 1 night 1 and pavilion 2 for second night. Neither was super tough to get but I do remember pavilion 2 was the best I could pull for night two. I can’t remember but it seems like back of pavilion two was available month before show, then went to lawn only after that.

The pit is very small, so those were hard to come by. But I remember pavilion seats being easy enough to grab.

Attendance was great though, just looked up the numbers and it sold 33,6780/ 34,324 tickets — so I wouldn't sleep on it too much. Touring behind an album might drive demand up as well.

I will be flying out there for this from St Louis! Staying with a friend who lives in Highlands Ranch. Just seems to make sense for me to do this trip! Free lodging, a concert buddy, plenty of legal edibles. Can't freakin wait! Hoping to get pit at least one night.

So this is an AXS ticket event? Which means no Citi Presale/Ticketmaster?

Yes, the WH request period is open now and runs through Monday. You will know if you are confirmed/declined before the public on sale.

This is an AXS venue, not TM. But that doesn't necessarily mean there won't be a Citi Presale. Citi is not a TM exclusive thing.
Browsing through other AXS shows, some do have Citi Presales.

So with no Alpine this year, I'm looking to find a place to see DMB. Coming from Minneapolis. Do you guys think this venue in Denver is worth traveling to if I'm looking for a 2-venue stop that I haven't seen yet (done Gorge and SPAC)?

It’s an average venue in a business park with an 11 curfew. No views, smack in middle of city and ok sound. The last shows at this place were great with good crowds. Dave Matthews band seemed to enjoy the venue too with Dave even commenting on how cool the place was and he was enjoying the night. I think he called it a barn mixed with a spaceship. If you have never been to Colorado it’s worth a visit to take in the sights.

I've been to Colorado a few times. I like it a lot. There aren't that many 2-night stops on this tour that I haven't already done (SPAC, Gorge) or aren't terrible (Chicago, Camden, etc.). Noblesville is good I've heard over the years, but Indianapolis isn't exactly a vacation destination.

    Have you done WPB yet?

As far as vacation venues, that's gotta be my favorite. Love staying on the beach and making a long weekend out of it.

The worst part about Fiddler's is no tailgating. I'm still not sure what went wrong with Dick's. I've been to Phish there several times and it's been great.

Don't know if it's Phish's particular sound or the crowd enthusiasm but it seems like Dick's is awesome for them and shitty for everyone else. I'm glad DMB is at Fiddler's instead. As an annual Phish Dicks attendee I just feel like DMB wouldn't be as great of a Dick's band/crowd.

I haven't and I've heard it's good, but going to Florida at the end of July sounds kind of awful. That's just not an area of the country I want to visit in the summer. If it was in the winter, that would be a different story.

Went here for first time last summer. It's sort of like Camden or Hartford as it's in an urban setting, but it's a much smaller venue in terms of capacity. Parking is like $20 in lots around the venue. But it's is pretty cool inside. Lots of places to hang out and chill outside of the actual concert area of the venue.

I put my requests in for these 2 shows. Seemed like the best all around option for a 2-night stand all things considered if they aren't going to play Alpine. I like Colorado a lot and flights are cheap and easy from Minneapolis.

ticket sales. fiddlers holds like 17k, dicks is 25k. they sold enough at dicks to sell out fiddlers. might as well just play fiddlers. phish actually sells out dicks.

i think they sold out one or both of the shows last time. Having Bela Fleck on the bill helped a ton. I hosted several people at my place that decided to fly in after Bela was announced.

they oversold the pitt by a lot. people were crammed in there. i dont like that it is an album year. if the new album sucks, get ready people. if you dont like songs on the album, you really wont like them by the end of the summer.
