If I was at that show I would've definitely been stuck by them . . .

Taking an infant child into the pit at a dmb show = my worst nightmare . . . Who wants to deal with that headache at a show??

I bet the parents made the kid an almanac acccount and logged that as his first show. What a terrible idea. Even with the headphones, that close it's too loud, too late, and way overstimulating. Kid looks 1 at the very most.

This happens a lot actually. Philips Arena 2012 I got to the pit line at 9:00 am and there was a couple with two kids under 2 there already. They stayed the whole day and got railed and didn't leave at any point tI'll after the show.

Cville this year I noticed a mother and child about the size of the one pictured here in the 3rdish row of the floor. The baby didn't even have headphones and was there all night.

The pit isn't for children. I brought my 3 year old son to Atlanta this year and we had seats. He loves music, dmb, and had a great time. The crowd around us was awesome. I have a 5 month old daughter that I would never take to a show. Probably not till 2020 at the earliest and idk if we will even have dmb shows then anyway.

I have no idea why you even want to have your 6 month old there. That is so much work for 3 hours of adult time. Just seems like a waste. Get a fucking babysitter.

There are so many things that could happen that would make this a miserable experience for you, the kid and everyone around you.

I mean, can you imagine a 6 month having a full blowout while you're ball deeps on the rail at a Dave show?

Concert venues usually allow children under 2 to attend for free, so I'm sure there is a segment of the population who think it is a good idea to bring their little ones for free. I bet if they had to pay for a ticket, they wouldn't bring them.

At least the kid had ear protection. I was at an NBA game and there was practically a newborn sitting in front of us and it still had its startle reflex in full effect. No ear protection and every time the buzzer buzzed or the crowd cheered the poor little thing would practically seize up. Bottom line is that any idiot can have a kid.

The one good thing is that kids are really resilient and can generally survive a lot of crap. Then they will grow up and take their own babies to the Pit or an NBA game.
