The odells downtown is really inbetween 5 points and rhino district. It's ok. The upstairs patio is nice. Nowhere near the scale of odells in fort. Worth walking in for a couple of their beers. Rhino district is fun for those wanting to explore bars and breweries, quite a few in rhino.

Couldn't agree more. If you driving all the way to Fort Collins, I mean I guess on new Belgium. My opinion massively overrated average beers. The tour is fun. But odells is where it is at for real beer between the two. And amazing outdoor patio. Must hit if driving that far.

I had 4 lowers pulled for N2 and the AXS app froze up on me while trying to enter payment info.

    Lost them.

I somehow got 102 Row HHH for N1 through the WH as just normal lowers. Best seats I’ve ever gotten without paying up for a premium package. Makes up for getting completely shut out of N2. Got lawn seats through AXS just to have something, but maybe a Hail Mary in the form of lowers will play out. First time I’ve been declined a premium package.

Also, the amphitheater overall looks very similar to Oak Mountain here in Birmingham (minus the lawn obviously), and the wife and I are too short to see over people from the 200s there, so it’s lowers or lawn for us haha.

Coming from Nashville for both nights and more than likely will be staying at the Gaylord. So if anyone else is staying there and wants to split a Lyft to the shows let me know.
Obviously will repost at show time. Just putting it on peoples radar for now.

Probably doing N2 this year. Last two years N1 has been a clunker and N2 has been bangers. Hoping we get something as cool as Spoon like last year. Fingers crossed for Drive In, Drive Out to make a return.

Have been to the previous Denver shows at Fiddlers in August. Is the weather a lot different in October? I know the weather out there is really unpredictable. Any chance for snow at a DMB concert?

I think I always get the ‘01’s at Fiddlers. Seems like it doesn’t matter what band either...¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Show is possible but I’ve been in a lot of 40s and rain. Gorillaz, Red Rocks for example in October, poured rain all show and was really cold.

So, don’t sleep in rain, it’s what I would be most prepared for but of course we’ll know the forecast so we’ll see.

The weather in October could be anything. Be prepared. Could be 70 and beautiful day, cool off at night and have a slight chill in the air. Could be 50 and cold rain. Could be 25 and snow. Honestly October is a transition month for Colorado, anything could happen weather wise. However for the most part October is typically pretty quiet and not much moisture.

It's my buddy's favorite concert moment not because he knew what Spoon was, but because of my reaction to Spoon being played.

Up until the last few years it was pretty rare to get A level acts at outdoor venues past September. I though they were pushing it with the first week In October, but 2nd week is asking for a cold weekend...

I don’t know who presented this idea to the band other than it guys with the end of their tour schedule..

N1 was fucking fantastic. One of those looks bad on paper but you had to be there shows.. great energy, solid classic set list, and band was on fire.

If spoon hasn’t been played the 2nd night it would also be a run of the mill set. It has the worst version of again and again and samurai cop ever played.. like they both sounded terrible that night.. the band forgot how to play them or something

Songs from N1 2019 that excite me:

    Rooftop
    Granny
    Lover Lay Down
    Song Jane Likes
    #41
    Grey Street
    Minarets
    PNP/Rapunzel

Songs from N2 2019 that excite me:

    Grace is Gone
    Warehouse
    Spoon
    Best of What's Around
    Seek Up
    Write a Song
    Dancing Nancies
    Space Between
    Some Devil
    Too Much
    Ants Marching

Could care less about any songs from CT sounding rough. If not for Stand Up it's easily their most forgettable and worst album. If I never heard another song from that album it wouldn't bother me one bit. Hell, the only song from that album that I really enjoy is the one they NEVER play - Black & Blue Bird.

Cool. I won't argue with you about quality of shows since you've just thrown out 20 plus songs from their catalog that you could care less about.

Also, they played about 3/4 of those songs you mentioned the year before.. Even Write a song and Some Devil.
