I think you'll see pockets of stupid, but I don't think it will be like memorial day. Then again maybe memorial day was calm where you are. It was an absolute zoo here in Tx.

I should say most of Texas is closed right now, at least most parks and beaches, so there isn't much to do anyway.

It's laughable and irresponsible for any of the sports leagues to think they'll be able to get through whatever remnants of a season they have planned right now.

NFL training camps open in ~20 days.

Christmas can be better than Thanksgiving if you do it right. The week between Christmas and New Year's is one of the best times of the year.

But generally speaking, Thanksgiving is my favorite. Day beers, football, so much damn food which you're supposed to eat in rounds. Game on.

See I’ve done Iraq which is a dry heat sure it was like 130 but I never felt like I was drenched in sweat.

yeah i was in Phx during a terrible heat wave, it was 118. Car bumpers were melting, there was a pet walking advisory...it's def like opening an oven
