Sorry if this was asked on the first page (I skimmed it), as I didn't see it, but if you are traveling state-to-state to see a show, do you have to quarantine before and after a show? I think it might differ from state to state but obviously if, say you go from NC to WPB to a show and have to quarantine for 7 days before a show, that changes the logistics of traveling drastically. I know this is out of DMB and their management's hands but with so many states having different rules, I don't know how traveling will work in two to three months to be honest.

There is no need to announce policies/protocols for a tour that is 3 months away. Things will change 500 times between now and then.

Thank you. The CDC changes their mind every other week. They are going to be changing the “wear your mask outside” mandate soon as well.

Wouldn't now be the time to have these available? Are they going to release some, sell out instantly, and then have to wait a few months to make more available?

I'm going to have less use for this in a year, when hopefully things are back to normal, and it would look very weird going to a show/event in one.

Do flights have that option? Seriously asking as I haven't flown since 2012 to the Gorge. Also I don't want to tie up more money on concert tickets to shows that may not happen when I can just grab lawn tickets right before the show. The flights are the big thing. I'm not much a flyer so I don't want a credit or something if my shows get cancelled.

Cuomo just announced capacity changes taking place August 20. Outdoor stadiums can increase to 33%, but casinos will increase to 50% 🤔

I thought the virus is transmitted more easily indoors.

And offices are increased to 75%. None of it makes sense. He also announced that the NYS Fair will go on this year at 50% capacity - but that can be modified based on how the numbers are trending throughout the summer.

Oh ok, Cuomo was talking about two different things, the capacity changes and the State Fair. Got the dates from both mixed up.

But either way, the capacities don't make any sense since the virus transmits easier indoors.

Cuomo also said the capacity for fair can get higher pending vaccine intake. He is hedging.

I think it just has more to do with full capacity with what each situation is.

75% of an office is going to be a much smaller number of people than 50% at a concert venue.

NYS Fair is going to be limited to 50% capacity august 18th - sept 6th.... considering this is right around the Syracuse date this does not bode well for full capacity show at Lakeview 2 days before.

But it's in a much, much tighter and enclosed space. They are all just guessing and hoping it works.

However it's pretty ballsy to reconfigure a 2021 tour with such promotion and boldness at full capacity without an sure fire confirmation that

    1. GA pits will be allowed in states like WA and NY
    2. The show will be cleared for full capacity
    3. Let fans book hotels/flights/rentals without knowing if vaccinations and or covid tests will be required within a period before the show.

Obviously things are fluid but can you imagine if 10% of gorge travelers are anti vaxers and they are told a few weeks before the show they need a negative covid test within 48 hours of the first night of the gorge in Washington?

There is no context and a strong affirmation on key destination venues by the band. This could end horrible from a PR perspective if some variant beats the vaccines or things spike up in mid summer.

DMB fans are running around acting like the band proposed to them with 2021 dates and people are all "see you at spac, see you at deer creek, see you at the gorge im renting my RV now!"

    Exactly
And offices, gyms, casino and such can keep distancing to a point vs a concert there it’s a free for all basically

have everyone show proof of vaccination, negative test, sign a waiver, or just suggest masks, and let's do this thing.

    we know enough by now.

if you're high risk, or just uneasy in general, then stay home.

In the end, this is pretty simple.

We should all be vaccinated then things would open up faster but I won't go down that path. If you don't want to get it, I don't agree but I fully support it. But get a negative test and let's get the shows going!
