I mean sitting on a song really isn't too uncommon. I am just surprised that DMB didn't try and play it live since they have played many songs before they were probably ready to do so in recent years.

I love the album. I remember feeling this way about BWGK and I still like that (but not as much as I did at first). The only song I don't like right now is Rooftop. The Riff, Drunken Soldier, Gaucho, and Broken Things are probably my favorite tracks now. This is a really good, cohesive album.

i LOVE Tim on this album. I'm one those people who hate on him for being so overpowering live, BUT THIS IS WHY. I think Tim is at his best when he adds nuances and depth with his unique playing to songs, not blasting the volume/grain on songs like PNP, LIOG, Ston, etc. His playing on this album on reinforces my point that he needs to be turned down so we can appreciate all the little flares he adds live.

I don't know about the encryption, but to split into tracks while keeping it on iTunes, you can always right click, go to "get info" or properties and then under the 'options' or 'advanced' tab, change the start and end times. Then just copy the file and change the start/end times for each track. Finally, you can highlight the whole bunch, go to the Advanced menu at the top of iTunes, and 'create AAC'. The it should trim off the rest of the album from each song.

I am going off of memory, as I don't have iTunes where I am. But you can definitely do that much within iTunes without a CD by using the start/end time option. Probably need a CD to get around DRM.

4th time through on Snow Outside... this song is really tripping me out. It's like Dave started with the Round and Round lick and Stefan just laid down the Light Lift Me Up bass line and the whole thing just turned into something magical. Great tune.

If no CDs you can always set your computer to record system audio and play it back in Itunes while simultaneously recording in Audacity then split. Just have to manually adjust your volume levels to get a good recording.

I'm with ya. Hearing him on this is like hearing him on those old albums. Love his weird echo effects on Mercy and Snow Outside and his sliding/picking(?) at the beginning of Snow Outside. Love the spanish-style on Gaucho and Drunken Soldier and the tone on DS. Also that oldschool echoing note on If only. He's terrific on this whole album, and he does it all while still letting Boyd be audible 100% of the time.

Love Boyd´s solo on the studio Belly Belly Nice and that song in general is fantastic
This album sounds amazing, great job DMB and Steve Lillywhite.
