I’m 30. I’ve lived under 5 presidents, 3 Republicans, 2 Democrats.

There have been 3 recessions in my lifetime, all initiated under republican presidents.

Mail-in ballots in Florida were mailed to Donald Trump at Mar-A-Lago yesterday.

Mar-A-Lago is not allowed to be a residence, by Florida law. Sounds like some kinda fraud to me (either voter fraud or tax/insurance fraud), but I say let's give the guy 4 more years!

I had to wait in a line yesterday with my son to take his permit test. It moved fairly quickly. The number of people who did not have proper paperwork but tried to argue about it with the guy going through the line checking paperwork. You cannot win that argument!

It really is a catch 22. If they strike it's going to cause even more delays and chaos. Trump will use it to claim A) UnIoNz BaD fOr AmErIcA! and B) all the problems the USPS is facing is due entirely to the strikes (because they no longer give a shit about even appearing truthful, just straight up lie).

That being said, striking is the best way to bring the issue to light and give the people a glimpse of what life without USPS would be like.

I don't think people outside of the 35% cult-base will buy those lines from Trump on USPS. It's America's favorite government agency, has a 90%+ favorable rating. Think back to the reaction from Americans during the government shutdown when TSA went on a pseudo-strike/work stoppage. It gave Trump some of his worst approval ratings in his Presidency (39.3% aggregate approval on Jan 25th, 2019).


And that was over an agency Americans view with much less favorability (45% in a 2018 poll).
