Oof. While we've wanted 1998 shows and this will certainly be good, no Stone, Last Stop, Spoon, or Dreaming Tree kinda stinks. Looking forward to it nonetheless!

If true, this is the least unique show of the 98 Fall/Winter tour. Seems to be a very odd choice....

Gotta throw the Boise fans a bone since they sadly don’t have football this fall.

Kind of a weird pick. And I was hoping for a spring or summer 1998 show with the original 5.

This is going to be an instant buy for me. I'm also getting that woman's shirt to go along with the usual male shirt I tend to buy with this. My sister did her residency in Boise, this will be an ok early Christmas gift for her.

Feels like a no brainer release to include a filler disc like they've done with some others. Give us a few key songs we want from the tour with some of the guests, but i'm not seeing that listed anywhere.

Winter 98 cant lose, they'll sound great, but honestly setlistwise this is not an exciting show from this tour... with this and 52 back to back, just makes me wonder why?

It's 98 and the only BTCS songs are: Rapunzel, dont drink, stay, crush

    Well. ill buy it

Why is 1999 consistently overlooked? There's been only one LT1999
It'll always be archived in my mind as the year when Listener Supported happened, which is to this day among my Top 3 DMB shows

This is the most generic description ever

"In the Fall of 1998, Dave Matthews Band was nearing the end of a months-long tour in support of their new album, Before These Crowded Streets. This show from Boise State University Pavilion on November 2nd, which is also Carter’s Birthday, includes long-time collaborator, Tim Reynolds, onstage for inspired versions of Rapunzel, Stay (Wasting Time), Crush, as well as extended jams on Lie In Our Graves and Jimi Thing."

    Really weird choice.

1998 is one of the band's best years, but we've got quite a few winter shows from that year already (and if we're going to do another winter tour show, there are much more interesting selections).

No spring or summer 1998 shows released yet, though.

The previous show (10.31) has already been released as a LT. And this is the least rare show of the tour. No guests or anything else to make it stand out.

Look, it's winter 1998. It'll be a solid show. And if they're picking offbeat venues/locations (Maine for 52, Idaho for 53) that's intriguing, too. But still, odd.

I was at the 11.4.98 show at the Tacoma Dome which has a far better set, normally I'm all about winter '98 DMB, but I'm considering a pass on this one.

whoever has been making the LT choices this year must not realize they are already on volume 53 of the series.
