A common practice in our fraternity was utility money being used to by cocaine. Our VP of Finance (treasurer) failed out of school and never told anyone. He acted like he was still going to class, studying, etc. One day just packed up and left with all of the money. Yeah, our national HQ wasn't amused, and we lost our charter about 3 years after.

dude I changed into my baseball clothes behind my desk, not realizing my WebEx was still logged in for a test makeup session

luckily the kids had all signed out but I forgot I was still signed in. technically any of them could have come in

The places that extended me interviews were heavily midwestern. I would have loved to go out west or to Tennessee/NC/SC so I could backpack and fly fish, but for some reason the region you graduate from pigeonholes you into that area unless you are a truly stellar applicant. I would be thrilled to match anywhere but of my options I'd love to go to Omaha or Milwaukee

Monday is if you matched and Friday is where you matched. The days in between are for unmatched applicants to scramble into unfilled positions. Pretty crazy you can not match then have 3 days to decide decades of your career. It's suuuper stressful. I applied psych!
