I mean, we can have this debate forever, but South Jersey with the exception of the shore sucks hard IMO. I am sure there are some nice towns in there, but compared to the towns in the North of the state, it doesn't really compare. Plus, you are too close to Philly

Grand Rapids, MI seems pretty awful. I spent a few days there in the middle of Jan. about eight years ago and nothing about it seemed appealing.

Grand Rapids is actually a pretty good time. Nice bars, not a ton of bros, active but quiet. I would prefer to be there over Boston 10 times out of 10, unless there's a concert or sporting event or something going on there.

I had San Fran, CA on my list of places that suck but I qualified it with the fact that I have only been there for work purpose. The city sucks to get around, our equipment van got robbed and the prices are stupid.

I also disliked Austin A LOT until I had been there 3-4 times. Same thing... was there for work and never wanted to go back. It wasn't until I had a lighter work trip that involved literally filming in bars and on the streets that I realized it was a great place.
