Locally: I echo Steng and will add Bridgeport and New Haven. Both suck.

Portland, ME was pretty shitty. Stayed an overnight there on my way to Acadia to hit breweries. Didn’t like it one bit.

I thought Ames, IA would suck, but I actually grew to like it quite a bit over the 6 times I was there.
