I played the beta quite a bit as well (PS4) and really enjoyed it. The game to me was:
1) A lot of fun
2) Tense
3) Nerve-racking
The tense/nerve-racking was when there was less people, 10 or under, as you would get that close to winning but with no radar (like in multiplayer) and not building to provide cover (i.e. Fortnite) you had to use natural cover to protect yourself. And getting that close to winning, you didn't want to make a mistake.
I played different ways to see how I would do and died a few times within 10 seconds of landing and lasted until the end. I did get second two times, third a few and a top 10 about 10 or so times.
I did get one victory - with no kills. During mid-match I did get in a few gun fights but didn't finish them off (one time I almost died so I go the hell out of dodge). But when it was down to 3, the other two got into a gun fight and the circle was closing, I knew where they were at and was going to take out the winner of that fight but that person was stuck in the circle and must have had low health - and died. Kinda a cheap way to get a victory but I'll take it.
