^ Same. But I could also see some people not liking it. While the last few episodes are the strongest of the season, I'd say certainly by episode four you could probably bail if it's not sticking for you.

It's ok to not like it. The first few episodes are definitely strange (actually they all are), but if you're not curious about what is happening, then don't torture yourself to finish it. I was skeptical the first few episodes, but curious enough to finish it. It wasn't the most mind blowing show, but I'm glad I watched it.

I’m enjoying it. Regarding it being stupid and laughable, I think that’s kind of the point. It’s a throw back TV show where they aren’t trying to trick you.

Anyone else watch Manifest? I've watched a few episodes of the first season, and I wish this show hadn't aired on a major network. It's a good premise that would have been a hell of a lot better on either a cable channel or streaming service. Subpar acting, cheesy writing, melodrama, the usual network show pitfalls. But I may stick with it just to see where it goes.

I've watched it since it aired - your assessment is pretty dead on - the premise is why i keep with it - and it brings in some interesting concepts, but the cheesy writing and acting continue to drag it down even to current day.

Started The Wire for the first time last night. My wife and I have been together for 5.5 years, and she just casually dropped that it’s one of her favorite shows ever and we should watch it since I’ve never seen it. Been under the working assumption for years it was The West Wing since we watched it together so early on and she always says it’s her #1. Literally never a word about how The Wire is right there and it goes back and forth. Marriage, what IS the deal?

Also the show is very good, but y’all knew that already.

The last episode when they are going to the Franklin institute was when I realized I bought tickets to an event in the wrong state


The whole show I was like oh we are going there for the Disney immersive thing by the end I was like wait this show is in Philly lol
