Re: The NBA Thread

Lebron is ridiculous. Nobody can cover him. Especially after a 10 day nap.

Olynyk looked real nervous when he ended up one on one with James

Deer meet headlights. Putting him and horford on Lebron was not a good idea at all. Probably not gonna make much of a difference either way though. I would just put brown on him. Use the series to see what you got with him future wise.

And I would never play Amir Johnson again. Totally pointless to have him on the floor.

They'll win the series in 6.

No. They won't. GSW would be hitting the bulk of these threes the Celtics are missing. Celts are rattled at this point and there is no coming back the way they started chucking once down 10. That's their game though and when they are off it's bad. CLE is in their head. That was obvious once IT tried to take bron one on one. That won't happen to GSW. They have the best shooter on the planet and Durant. It won't be crowder and smart trying to hit 3s to get the back into the game.

Cavs in 6 is a good bet. They're confidence is at an all time high and the rest they're getting is crucial.

The unanimous mvp disappeared last year and Lebron has an apartment in KD and Draymond's head. They're a way more physical team that can wear out the Warriors and out rebound them. Better bench too.

Oh, and the greatest player on the planet.

I'm concerned about the Warriors depth. I agree they should be the favorites, but the Cavs winning is not out of the question. It will be interesting to see if LBJ is in their heads this year.

Going to be a slugfest, no doubt. But I think the Cavs have been a slow blossomed since Ty Lue became head coach.

No Kerr will be interesting in crucial moments when it's tight.

It's a good point that Mike Brown is coaching the Warriors now.

    GS still the favorite though.

Think the second best player in the game might at least balance off those negs.

I won't be surprised by either team winning in the Finals but it won't be easy for either team. It's going at least 6 games. The Warriors, while loaded, still have to beat Lebron 4 times. That's not impossible, but it certainly isn't a given, and won't be easy.
