Just a heads up/ FYI, there is a bike race at Alpine the first weekend in July. The resort is holding 50 rooms for that event.

Now I doubt a Bike race would affect the concert dates, but if your planing on staying at the resort for the show you may want to book a room sooner rather than later. Just in case DMB plays Alpine the first weekend of July.

    As in 30th and 1st, or full weekend 7th and 8th? Did they take reservations over the phone? Saw it wasn't allowing online yet.

    Post at family and tell them you think the band has booked rooms for shows and watch the go nuts

    Traffic would be a mess going in and out. However, they are two separate owners. It does make me wonder about the weekend before though being a good one. I think country thunder is around the 25th.

    DMB gives no fucks. They booked opening night of the tour the same weekend as the Iron Man race in The Woodlands 3 or 4 years in a row. Fucking nightmare.

    Alpine Valley Music theatre is not saying no to a concert that weekend because there's a Bike race on a different location, I doubt they would turn any act away this summer. But it is something to think about.

    Quick story about that: our hotel was packed. My friend Karen commented to me how "fit" every one was. (Duh.)

    I said to her: "Well, it makes sense....they're all doing the Iron Man and we just ate at Chick-Fil-A for lunch."

    I met Boyd this spring in Richmond with CG... he's stayed in touch with Carter and Stephan.
