No rush. I did receive a few more overnight. I'm expecting to extend this through the week. PMs to follow.

Sent mine. I am normally only a top 10 guy year to year, but managed to send in 50.

Can't even imagine how long this one is going to take. There might 500 films to rank.

I don't think it will take me too long to tally results once I have everyone's list. Next week opens up for me a bit.

Still working on mine. Moving apartments and having my work shut down has thrown a monkey into the wrench. Will submit in the next day or so.

Like I've said, no real rush at this point. Focus on the important things.

I now have unlimited time for the next 2 months or so. So I'll be able to watch a few movies needless to say. I will be working on my list now.

I’m looking forward to see everyone’s list. I’ve missed a ton of movies earlier this decade, and will be using the rankings as a watchlist.

Started working on this. Good lord do I disagree with some of my rankings on past lists. It's crazy how well some stuff ages and how poorly some stuff ages.

And no, Clay, it's not the rando stuff that I now disagree with.

Took the top from each year, no set amount just highlighted down till I hit something I knew obviously wouldn't be on the final list.

129 movies on the spreadsheet to start.

Got mine submitted today. Reread the rules and realized there was a 50 film limit which left a lot of flicks on the cutting room floor. I know we aren't supposed to post our lists until the final list is revealed, would it be in poor taste to post what didn't make the cut?

Hold off if you can. I think the lists are going to be so varied that revealing your omissions won't necessarily tip anything off, but it's still a post that can be saved for another day.

If you want to talk about a few of your toughest choices rather than posting a full-fledged list, then go right ahead.

    Heard that.

I'll just speak to making the choices - Did anyone else find themselves fighting a little recency bias if they hadn't seen a film in a while vs a film that you had seen recently? I found myself having to sit and really think about the movies I hadn't seen in a while and figure out what stands out all this time later.

It was also difficult to keep balance and not just load it up with my favorite actors and directors. Inevitably the list is littered with favorites, but I tried to keep it balanced and give some love to more off the wall stuff that has stuck with me for years.

I've actually had the opposite problem, but I also didn't create a list from scratch. I've kept a running list since the beginning of the decade and often found it extremely difficult to measure newer releases against films that have had years to earn their classic status.

That's also why I don't consider delaying this a little further to be such a bad thing. 2019 was an especially great year for cinema, and I like giving those releases a little more time to breathe to help figure out exactly where they stack up.

Not to mention that I just added a new entry to my top 50 after watching Portrait of a Lady on Fire this morning.

You can actually submit up to 100. I went back and looked at the rules, and the 50 film cap only applied to the 2019 voting.

Feel free to send me up to 100 if you wish.

    Yes, it is.

You guys don’t have to rush to submit. I haven’t set a new deadline date, but I’m thinking the end of this month.

Totally dropped the ball when it comes to posting reminders and sending PMs to regular contributors in the movie thread.

I'll be sending those PMs soon, but if there's anyone reading this who hasn't submitted a list then just send it to me as soon as you're able.

Hard to keep track of time these days.
