Xcacel, you were spot on about 2-17-97. That's an amazing show. With the work you did it sounds like a Live Trax to me! Any Dave and Tim from 96, 97, and 99 that you can make sound like this will be greatly appreciated. I believe that was a taper recording? Unbelievable!
As for the 5-6-96 show, this has to be one of the best shows that the band has ever done!! You made this one sound like Red Rocks 95 to me and that's a huge feat. I love that release and basically we have a Red Rocks caliber sound and performance with some Crash tunes mixed in the setlist. Who could argue with that!
To Xcacel, djamieb, and whoever else is doing this work, please keep up your tremendous efforts! These shows will be cherished by the community for years to come. You are amazing! Thank you!

Thanks firedancer0341. Never too late to this party, I am happy that you joined the club
And your feedback is highly appreciated!
2.17.2997, Denver CO, is still “under construction”. Not exactly sure what you’ve been listening to, but Jamie and Matt are doing their final touches, we’re almost there.
5.06.1996, New Orleans is a classic and I loved doing it. Red Rocks is up there and unreachable, but that timeframe was magic for the band, who was becoming more and more popular.
I’d recommend Djamieb’s remaster of 1996.12.27, North Charleston to continue your journey. The first six songs are an amazing run (Two Step, Nancies, #41, Say Goodbye, Billies, Crash into Me), the band delivered stellar performances and the sound quality that Jamie achieved is amazing. That show is amazing.
Also the two nights of New Year’s Eve 1995 at Hampton Coliseum are highly recommended (12.30 and 12.31.1995). They are fan’s favorites and you can sense the level of excitement that the band had back at the time.
We will keep on doing what we do because we love it!
