    REPOSTING WITH THE UPDATED LINK

Sample and Remastering Notes: There's a sample of Grey Street from the original tape and also a sample of my mastered version in the "Samples" folder, just so you can hear the difference between the original and the mastered side by side. I’m very proud of how this master turned out; I think it’s sounding really full and punchy, with a nice and dynamic openness to it! In the mastering process, I did some corrective dynamic EQ, very light glue compression, sweetening EQ, a bit of mild saturation, stereo spread enhancement, and gentle limiting to address the transients. Excited to hear your thoughts, and I hope you all enjoy!

Taper Credits: Major kudos to Eric Naylor; he captured a beautiful recording of this excellent show! Thanks, Eric - both for taping and for being generous enough to let me work on mastering this show to share with the community. You rock, pal!

Really love this show. Fantastic quality and a great performing band.
Pig sounds wonderful and it's really been a long time since I've heard such a brilliant So Right.
When the crowd wishes for Two Step for a few seconds, of course they know that the next 20 minutes will be a worthy conclusion.
    Many thanks.

My guy! Amaaaazing job on the Hollywood Bowl 2007 write up!!! I got goosebumps several times reading the write-up; it took me right back to that night - standing there with my wife, watching my favorite band absolutely slay it at this world famous venue. And that ended up being the last time I had the pleasure of hearing Leroi play live. Dude, fantastic job. So well written!! Thank you!!!

(And thanks again for the lovely compliments about my remaster of the tape: very nice of you! That means a lot!)

You're quite welcome! And right back atcha — thanks for your kind words about what I wrote and, mostly importantly, thanks for doing this remaster!!

I'm especially glad you feel I captured what made that night special

Not necessarily looking for a remaster here (although that would also be cool), but do either of you have a recording of the 7-6-2004 from Mansfield, MA that you could share?

Hi...i know you didn't ask me, but I keep all of the known shows I get a hold of in my online library. The link below is 2004. There are 2 tapes for that show you can download here.

Any updates on some of the remasters that were being worked on a few weeks ago? Appreciate all you guys do! Was just curious how the D&T show was coming along that was referenced in a blog post awhile back, and definitely curious about 8-5-04 as well.

    Hey, y'all!

Hope you're having a great week!

I absolutely love the version of Monsters from Chicago N1, so I mastered the Sirius audio stream and I'm happy to share it with you!

    "MONSTERS"
    Chicago, IL - 7/7/23
    Sirius Broadcast (mastered by djamieb)

    Link:
    https://mega.nz/folder/DJA0SaJT#yszQ3AC-vMLpNvZkwZk4Sg

Note 1: I left the original broadcast file of this song in the folder, too, just so you can hear the difference between the original and the mastered version.

Note 2: I also synced this mastered audio to the video that was shared on YouTube by Ron Towles. He captured terrific video footage from front and center in the pit. I reached out to him to ask for permission to share the video with the synced audio on the dmbremasters.org site that Xcacel and I maintain, but haven't heard back yet. So, I'm not sharing it there or re-uploading to YouTube or anything, but you can see the video in this folder, as well.

    Hope you enjoy!!

    Thank you both of you.

    Xcacel:
Knockin is really relaxed and I love the part where the fans sing in "not fade away". Of the four, all along is actually the.... most inconspicuous. :-) I also like the cover very, well done.

    Jamie:
Monsters, one of the stronger ones on the new album and since the first listen to it I thought that every song can only win in a live version. Here we already have 5 minutes. Sounds fantastic! Thank you very much

Thanks for the great comment, bud! Very kind of ya'! So glad you enjoyed it.

And yeah, I totally agree; I figured Monsters would be solid live when I first heard the studio version. And now it's turning into something really special, which is so cool to see.

I absolutely love the version of Monsters from Chicago N1, so I mastered the Sirius audio stream and I'm happy to share it with you!

Aww, thanks very much!! I really appreciate that! You're very welcome, my friend. Glad you love how it sounds!

I absolutely love mastering music, and DMB has been my favorite band for 25+ years, so working on their stuff is a perfect blend of 2 things I'm deeply passionate about. Happy to do this to give back to the community!
