What would you rather... have in 2023?

No new album this year.

Next year we can have one, but not both. BTCS will need to wait for 30th anniversary if it doesn't happen in 2023.

1. The new album with the songs we know about: MME, TOT, OATB, STTMB, WATM plus songs we haven't heard.

2. BTCS 25th anniversary. Machead, ant song that was recorded but didn't make the cut, alternate versions of songs, rehearsal versions, any other studio stuff they have from the session.

    BTCS hands down.

I mentioned it in the BTCS thread, but I fear the new album is going to mess up yet another possible anniversary release for BTCS.

    BTCS no question about it.

I think Dave is too indecisive on the album to let that happen lol. If he wanted an album out, it'd have been out. It's been several years of working on it and them saying they were "close" multiple times. Seems like a lack of effort from Dave to really wrap it up.

I have been told MacHead was turned into an already release song (maybe the riff?). But even if that is true I want BTCS on Vinyl easily over a new album that may be half trash like Come Tomorrow. Even with unreleased songs we love being on the album for all we know they could butcher them even more like Can't Stop 2.0. Too much of a risk with BTCS being re-released is a sure bet to make me happy.

Btcs box sets are a perfect way to push the new album if they include it in some bundles

I know BTCS inside and out. I'll buy both whenever they become available, but I'm vastly more interested in a new album than a reissue, even with a few unreleased bits and bobs.

I couldn't care less at BTCS vinyl, but selected that one for MacHead+extras.

MacHead is the Bigfoot of the DMB world. I need to hear it before I drop dead.

Obviously I'm in the minority but I want new music. I've listened to BTCS more times than I could count, and I'm not interested in Machead enough to choose that option solely on that. Give me studio versions of the new tunes please.

Exactly. And it's not like we won't get the BTCS reissues w/ all the extras if it is also released, but if released on the same day, I'm going to the new release first and foremost. Giving a fair amount of listens (assuming I like more of it than not upon first listen) before I worry about re-listening to BTCS for the eleventy-billionth time.

I'll take a brand new studio album over BTCS reissue on vinyl.
