Premier and Terrace spots are both big enough for 3 2 person tents right?

Premier spot is the one I had last year. Massive. In one premier spot, we fit two four person tents and a three person tent. We then also had the big 20x10 canopy by the car. Huge, so yes you can easily fit three 2 person tents along with quite a bit more.

Despite all the amazing shows I've seen at the Gorge since 2000, I had resigned myself to the notion that I would never get a Bela guest spot checked off my DMB bucket list.

Been delighted every day since the opener announcements.

we had so much room last year, there was about 18 of us (think we had 4-5 passes), that we had canopies up in a camp area that went completely unused.

The space in premier is great. Not too mention you can expand it a bit if the neighbors don’t take much.

Morning everyone,, still trying to figure out if I should try for gold camping or premier??? If I have a 24 foot RV, is it overkill if I try for a gold spot compared to a premier spot space? I really don't need that much space.. looking for some honest reviews on either campsite. thank you!

    overkill? no

lots of RVs in both sites. certainly a LOT more in Gold.

Gold is way more level, so if i was bringing an RV i'd pick gold no matter what.

there's some significant hills and dips in premier that can make it difficult to level a trailer or RV.

My group of 5 (3 tents) is hoping for 2 spots in at least Gold if/when we get shut out of Terrace requests. Can anyone tell me if there are sections within gold camping that are just tents or if we will no doubt be dealing with RV/generators...just curious and haven't really been able to find good pics. I had Terrace in 2015 and we hope to get there again, but I thought I remembered there were also plenty of people in gold just tenting.

Thanks for the info/help. Hopefully between our group requests we land a confirm or 2.

Aside from Ballard, which I absolutely loved and I'm looking forward to getting back to, are there other sections of Seattle that people recommend checking out that aren't directly downtown? I realize this question could be asked anytime now until Gorge weekend but just thinking of ideas

I second Fremont. There's the Troll (as seen on ABC's Once Upon A Time), Gas Works Park, Meowtropolitan (a cat cafe that my kids loved), the Theo Chocolate Factory tour, and of course a couple of breweries.

Also - went to this GREAT japanese restaurant in Seattle when i was there - can't speak highly enough about my experience. Web site makes it look way more upscale than it is. It's like a nice hipster hangout, if that's your thing. Which is actually NOT my thing, but the food was fantastic - would go back:

I have zero experience myself, as we basically crash at a hotel near the airport and bust it out to the Gorge, but I've been told you should check out West Seattle, Alki Beach and eat at Marination overlooking the beach.

Premier gets the most talk on this thread, only because of the people who are active on this thread.

This thread isn't really a very good representation of overall Gorge attendees... I find a ton of my other DMB friends from Facebook are all in Gold or at Wildhorse.

I think Gold has grown a lot in years. The first year it was considered RV parking mostly but more people have started camping there IMO.

This thread isn't really a very good representation of overall Gorge attendees... I find a ton of my other DMB friends from Facebook are all in Gold or at Wildhorse.

I think Gold has grown a lot in years. The first year it was considered RV parking mostly but more people have started camping there IMO.

Then there's hideous freaks like me who don't camp at all
