Re: The Gorge Q&A and FAQs

Book refundable flights (most airlines now), cancel everything if shows get cancelled. Don't see a mask mandate happening, but you'll need proof of vaccine or negative test.

Hi all! I am hoping someone will see this... huge thanks to whomever put together that FAQ document, so helpful! I just wanted to confirm my understanding of parking if you are NOT camping - as per normal venues, you just get directed to a parking lot? Or is it necessary to purchase a pass in advance? We aren't tailgating, just need to park for the shows. Thanks in advance!

You get directed to normal parking, which is free. You don't need to purchase a pass.

Re: The Gorge Q&A and FAQs

Hey gorge peeps! Future question for you. We are planning our second trip out there for 2022 and contemplating accommodations. Last time we stayed in a hotel 45 minutes away, never again… My wife is not a camper type person. At all. She would consider oasis, maybe the Easy camping, maybe a RV or camper option. So my question is about Oasis. This year I see a lot for sale but I assume due to covid. In years past, how easy is it to get oasis early? You have to reach out to the venue as they aren’t publicized as on sale correct? What Is the time frame on that usually. I feel the cost is excessive but happy wife and all that . Have people done Oasis in here and not liked it?

FYI - The Gorge Oasis folks are doing Q&A on a Bookface group called "2021 DMB Oasis Camping at the Gorge" - there's up-to-date information and folks that can handle your questions (evidently the previous contractor ghosted along with their e-mail address). INCLUDING XFERS. Tune-in and say hi!

Even if they are, don't bring one. Too hot and dry out there. Not worth the risk.

Can’t wait for next week! So we’ve got some peeps that have gold camping and we’re in standard, any recollections on how difficult it is to get in gold to hang out for the day? I think I recall security guard stationed at that other entrances but it’s fuzzy ...

Edit: golf camping for gold camping LOL

Yes you can go down in camping, but you can't go up in the pecking order. So the Gold peeps have to go to your campsite to chill

Hey all, does anyone know what the bag policy is? The website doesn’t elaborate, but I’m seeing in various places not on the website that there’s a clear bag policy now. Anyone know the dimensions? Maybe I missed something…

So we are driving up from Portland just for the Saturday show. Going to leave early morning on Saturday but we want to take two cars for the majority of the way. Then, when we get closer, park one of the cars somewhere and then drive one car in to camp (we only paid for one car). Where you y'all recommend we park our extra car? I was thinking like a hotel parking lot somewhere on the way. We saw a Walmart not too far from the venue that also might work. Any suggestions?

In 2019 there were places when you got off to come towards the gorge that people were renting out there land as parking spots for the weekend. I dunno if they are doing that again but i dont see why they wouldnt.

this is a common mistake so it's worth pointing out--not to call you out, but to prevent this mistake from being made in the future

www dot georgeamphitheatre dot com is NOT, I repeat NOT the venue's webpage, which can be found at https://www.livenation.com/venue/KovZpZAEkk1A/, and ONLY there.

www dot georgeamphitheatre dot com is a cleverly disguised front for a dodgy ticket resale site that crowds its site with what seem like official policies, links, etc. in order to make the site look more legitimate. don't get information from there!

Ugh, thanks. I googled “Gorge bag policy” and the fake link comes in first and the livenation page is not until page 2… something wrong with that algorithm…

Anyone know how strict the 48 hour covid test policy will be? Meaning if the test is taken 55 hours before the show is this a problem? Test scheduled on Wednesday morning for the Friday night show. Hoping they will just be looking at the fact it was two days prior and not count the hours.

Is my paper CDC vaccination card good enough for proof of vaccination or do I need something else to get into these shows?

I thought Washington had a fire pit ban or something right now due to wildfire spread
