Was just searching the Warehouse archives for a particular post and came across this one, our first trip to the Gorge. It's like those prices were from the 1950's, not 2006

"I got the Motel 6 in Moses Lake for $108 total for all 3 nights ($38, $38, $32, their Click 6 Internet Special) and a Hertz rental car from noon Friday to noon Monday for $102, and free flights with points on Airtran!"

Just bought plane tickets on a whim....girlfriend and I are landing in Spokane Friday, driving to the venue, then driving to Seattle to fly back Saturday.

We'll have a rental car and don't plan to be in a condition to drive anywhere after the show....what are our best options for parking/sleeping? I hear star parking doesn't allow overnight? Do we have to park the car elsewhere and sleep somewhere in District 9? Try to join one of you friendly folks and park with y'all Friday, share a site, and leave Saturday?

Thoughts?

We've done the full Gorge weekend 3 times, but never a 1 night thing like this.

Can't wait!!!

Pay the $100 or so for D-9 camping; park AND sleep there. Wait another month and get it for $50

So right now on TM it's $130 with fees. When/where will it be $50??

Yea, D9 doesn't sell out so people don't have much luck selling those for what they paid. They get cheaper and cheaper the closer to the show we get.

You can pay for general camping at the gates and save the fees and shipping that way, too, if you don't find it for under face value in August.

If you find N2 lawn for face, grab those. You can safely wait on N1 and N3 if you want.

A group of east coast and west coast Canadians are returning to the Gorge after a 7 year gap (last time was for the Caravan Tour, which was awesome!) . I just took 7 of us to Gilford NH just 3 week ago and it is a very good venue and location.

Now the question:
We are renting an RV in Wanatchee and they want confirmation of the reserved Camping. Well, I have Warehouse issued camping and they are not physically shipped until 2-3 weeks before the event.

Any suggestions? Would the Warehouse help? I made a screen snap of the Warehouse ticket confirmation page, hoping that will be good enough until the real tickets arrive.

Also we will most likely have an extra vehicle. Where can we park it? Last time we left it out by the Interstate in George.
Can we pay for on site/over night parking?

Great idea. I will pass it by the team. If we all share the cost of the parking/camping ($133.50, just like big-city pricing) then its not much of a hit.

I thought the Underground Tour was pretty terrible. I love Seattle Center (Space Needle, MoPop, Pacific Science Center).

Obviously would prefer to get Gorge tickets here on the exchange if I'm lucky enough to see some, but does anyone have thoughts on the prices I was quoted below? I've copied and pasted my ticket guy's message as he sent it.

seats are a bit crazier so would quote per day. and will give you some examples

(4) 204 row 7 $185ea
(6) 103 row 16 $250ea
I have a killer VIP box that comes with vip club for ac and easy to get to bathrooms $300ea

Sat
(4)205 12 $210ea
not many in 100 level (2) 103 20 $270ea
VIP Box only (3) left $350ea

Sun
(4)205 4 $190ea
not many 100 level (2) 101 15 $200ea
VIP Box $400ea

If you can swing VIP box thats the best they are on 100 level and dead center.
if you take 6 vip box fri and sun and 3 on Sat. I will do all for $300ea. Then can grab 3 seats or lawn for other 3 on Sat.

I think they're all too high. It's pretty easy to find Gorge tickets for face on here. Also, the VIP boxes are located behind the 200 level at the very back of reserved, not the 100 level.

If youre considering lawn just buy Fri and Sun off TM individually and wait to find saturday. Doesnt make any sense to pay extra for a 3 day lawn when you can get 2/3 nights on TM right now.
