They tell you in the show's description that they only have a 2 track board mix of the show from their vault. Why we are getting it as a DMBLive.

    Yeah, this.

I don't think they'll ever release a show via DMBLive that they have a multitrack recording of. That was the whole point of the series... to release shows they didn't have multi's of.

I have no doubt that 11.30.98 isn't the only post 04.30.96 show that has issues with the multitracks preventing a properly mixed show from being released.

It's great that multitrack errors won't prevent shows from being released where the 2-track board mix archive is intact.

Maybe there's an issue with the multi's and the 2-track is all they had to go with.

If the full band show is from after the introduction of the multi-track and they release it dmblive as a two-track, the multi-track is hosed. There's no "release it because it's cheaper to get it out." Unfortunately. Because that would open up more shows.

Absolutely. It's pretty cool that they didn't shy away from it.

I wish they'd do more with the vids and all this screen shot footage just sitting in the can. Summer warm up series is great, and of course Copperpot for the boots, but I wish they'd put out more pro shot shows. We're seeing a little more of it being added to the Trax but it would be nice to have some type of separate vid series, whether it be streaming or downloading. I miss the good ol' days of the yearly DVD releases of the early 2000s.

I remember reading that they have videos going back to 1998. It would definitely be great to see a new DVD with Roi on it.

Agreed. I'm a concert film junkie, and I just think it would be great to have more of this made available officially. The early 2000s was a great time to be a DMB fan when it comes to this.

It's not bad at all. Definitely worth the $13.29. A little flat at some points but that's to be expected

Strings sound distant throughout the recording...everything else is pretty tight but yes a flat recording in general...at least it's something!

I used to have no attention span for work on DMB DVD release days, getting there over lunch to pick it up then heading straight home at 5pm to watch it on my 27" Samsung CRT playing on my PS2! I had a stereo with no line in, had a red and white male to 3.5mm stereo female cable on my TV's audio out jacks going to one of those 3.5mm > Cassette jacks you could use to play Discmans in your car from many moons ago, just to hear the stereo track with more volume, bass and clarity than my crappy TV speakers could muster.

They had a good run of DVDs back in the 00s.

Love concert vids, have 41 of them on Blu-ray now.

That late '98 tour isn't my favorite version / era of DMB but I know for many people it is, awesome shows and it's cool to now have three of them. At least three are available anyway, I don't have this (yet) or LT1. I was just interested to see what others thought of how they all compare against each other. The thing about LiC is between Tim trying to save himself on Watchtower and Boyd having to go back to the studio to fix LIOG there are a bunch of mistakes in it.
