Just to re-iterate what others have said, getting out of Charlotte lots after the show is painful. By far the worst after show exit experience I've ever had.

Not sure if this was covered before, but does premier parking have separate entrance/exit that you're aware of in Charlotte? Or is it just closer to the venue?

I was downtown (uptown? Lol) and just cancelled. Looking in university area.

I can't speak to that. Unfortunately, I was just in the regular priced lot (or one of them).

They do, and I'll say that most of the time it does seem to go a little faster, but not every time. The biggest problem is that the narrow road the amphitheater is on, makes it a pain the ass for everyone.

University area definitely looks better. Only choice is so I want to be best to chil fil a or armored cow brewery?

I would agree except my last show there I happened to get a spot right near the exit and just zoomed right out. Other shows there have been really bad. Virginia Beach also very poor exit - gotta love small roads leading to and from venues!

You cannot go wrong with these choices lol my friend is one of the brewmasters there and it is very solid for a small/newer brewery

Yeah, got an uber home last year after the rain delay at like 1230am no problem. Uber is plentiful in Charlotte, even, and especially in university, it's a pretty big school. They also make a habit of being nearby when shows are in town.

Picked up some seats first row behind the mixing table in Charlotte. Anyone have experience/tips on getting a setlist from them after the show?

Already got a ticket for Charlotte and made the decision this morning to also attend Raleigh for my first tour opener show!! I’ll need a single ticket so please keep me in mind if you come across one

At first I saw the car rental prices were pretty pricey and I decided to check out and see if Amtrak had anything available. Looks like there is an Amtrak that is only $17 from Raleigh to Charlotte Saturday morning and it will arrive before 1:30pm! I just booked this and if anyone wants to come with on the journey, feel free to join!

Ask any of the guys and they’re happy to give one - the trick however is beating everybody else. They go quick. I’ve tried at every show I’ve gone to and still don’t gave one.

WH members have until May 22 to cancel tickets, so there will be more Instants

Looking at pictures of PNC Pavilion in Charlotte. Almost comical how far to the side the reserved seats go. Looks like you'd be lucky to catch a glimpse of Dave's nose.

What part of the show? Before encore? Just after encore?

I've been to all the Charlotte shows over recent years and agree that traffic in Charlotte may be the worst of all the venues I've been to. I've sat in the lots for up to 2 hours after a show waiting to get out. Once or twice I was lucky, and as mentioned, I think I was parked near the exit of the lot.

The year I sat for 2 hours, a family member was late arriving and had to park on the side of the road. He got out no problems.

It's a little risky, but if you can find a spot on the grass on harris Houston rd right by theater, that is the absolute fastest way to get out. That being said, while I personally haven't had issues the two times I've done it, I have seen cars broken into once or twice.

For the Raleigh show - I currently have a hotel booked in Garner but I'll likely be arriving before check in time and they can't commit to an early check in until day of. I'm considering switching to a hotel on North Dawson Street in Raleigh called Longleaf hotel (or really any other hotel in the area) as there appears to be restaurants/bars in walking distance that I could burn time in if I can't check in upon arrival. Can anyone speak to this area? Is this the "heart" of Raleigh?

Yup, Dawson street is in the heart of downtown where all the bars and restaurants are within walking distance. There are two primary places of DT Raleigh - Fayetteville St which has some more classed up bars and places to eat, and then you have Glenwood Ave, which is great in the summer time and they have a lot of outdoor bar areas. Definitely check out the Raleigh Beer Garden on Glenwood if you can.

Thank you! Seems like the best spot all things considered (especially because the price is about the same as Garner).
