Canes offense still has a long way to go. I thought that last nights game was going to be the Tennessee game last year all over again.

Chris Rix is a joke.

The #1 thing I hate about college football....the lousy kicking game. Stink' Marshall kicker.

Stupid Marshall. When are coaches going to learn that if your'e a mid major playing in a place like the Shoe, you can't become a chickenshit play caller in the 4th quarter. Their last possesion with 38 seconds left where they run 3 times even though OSU has 3 timeouts?

Grow some stones and move the freakin ball down the damn field. This is why college football frustrates me.

this morning on college gameday, Herbstreit started off by saying "I am a moron" and recanting his previous pick of Rix for heisman.

Well i'm about to do the same with the georgia BUMS

Musberger just described the Clemson v GT game as "A Battle of ACC unbeatens"

That must mean they're both juggernauts, considering its the second week of the season

You knew it was coming. SC offense playing like crap. Feel bad for them. Every year they ALMOST beat someone good...but no wait...wait ....wait...... NO they lose.

    Sigh.

    Side note:

Doesn't it feel like Fred Gibson has been playing for Georgia since about 1987? Which means he's dropped about 6234 catchable balls. Hes a good athlete, but man he has the dropseys.

YES. Will he ever graduate? It's really weird when players get to that point, where it seems they've been there for at least 2 decades

That Ohio State Kicker Nugent is like that too.

And as another Georgia side note, how about Shockley's Houdini act.

"Two headed quarterback, Richt has two great...

    ...

    DAVID GREENE FOR HEISMAN!"

    Hmm

Well the refs in the SC-Georgia game have obviously sprayed the ball with Hepatitus.

I thought I had a handle on the karmic flow of this game, but now I don't know what the Football gods want or who they are punishing.

Still leaning toward this all just making SC's loss more heartbreaking....

Yeah it pained me to see SC give this one away. Their offense wasn't clicking until the 4th quarter but then they gave the ball away.

Yeah, we do need to work on offensive production. Not so much yardage (racked up plenty last night), but turning that into TDs.

And yes, Rix is a joke.

ASU beat Northwestern (and looked good doing it) and U of A lost...with the exception of Ohio State and Notre Dame winning I'd say it was a good weekend
