just got back Staples #2 :) OMG!!!!!!

I have been to over 20 shows here in LA. To all of you that sat on your hands, please don't come back next year. Staples Center sucks, Hollywood Bowl or Verizon are much better venues. I am embarrassed for my fellow Angelinos. Dave and the boys played a great show, but the crowd acted like it was the 7th innning @ Dodger Stadium--time to leave. The San Diego show will surely be better.

Safe bet: those aren't people who post here.

Where I was, no one was sitting and I couldn't see a single person who was sitting. Even during OOMH and WAYG.

I just want to say there are many reasons why people are sitting at a show. I've been to 25 shows and have sat at every one of them. I have disabilities that keep me from dancing all night. You can't tell by looking at me and sometimes the handicapped area is full (mostly of people who sneak in there..please don't do this) so I have to sit in a regular seat. I pay money for that seat just like anyone else. I don't care if you dance so don't be bothered if I sit. Don't be so quick to judge...I have a great time at shows.

Glad to hear someone who has been to lots of shows felt the same way.

I've only been to one show back in '02, and they blew me away then, but I definitely felt something special in the air the other night.

And the setlist! WOW! I mean, I was hoping for an awesome set list to mark Roi's passing but the band far exceeded any hopes. So much love in the room...amazing. Seek up had me in tears, and I truly felt something cosmic during Gravedigger. Unreal!

seconded. very active attentive crowd esp. for LA. I thought they did a great job.

I was wondering if anyone else heard Dave say something like "a lot of our songs sound like they're about dying but they're actually songs about living" before Gravedigger. I thought he said "living," but maybe he actually said "loving" or something else, it was kind of loud in my section so I might not have heard right.
