"Epic" stuff almost never happens at midweek shows. Someone got in Dave's ear after he laid a fat turd at a hyped up show in nashville, so he dumped all the goodies at the next show on a tuesday in iowa and left them there for the summer.

If the O/U is .5 I'm taking the over.

I refuse to travel for this band in their current state.

5 years ago I would have been able to talk myself into doing the gorge for the first time. Now it's not nearly as appealing. If they continue to shrink venue size on future summer tours, I'd hope they go back to Red Rocks.

    OP's theory is actually decent.

Would love to see Dreaming Tree get plays this summer. In fact, it's probably my #1 song I want to see.

With that being said, it probably gets less than 5 plays this year. If they even play it.

Sure it does. I got Write A Song and JTR mid week last year. Say Goodbye, Two Step (first time since 2015 for me). My first Where Are You Going, at my 30th show. Those are all badass. Raven was midweek, Cortez the Killer too.

Write A Song, JTR, Say Goodbye weren’t played at any weekend shows I saw last year.

DMB definitely plays some deep cuts mid week.

You do realize that one of these songs is much more difficult to play than the other, right?

I have an easier time playing Dreaming Tree on the guitar compared to DYR. But that's just me and my mediocre guitar talent.

Also, Do You Remember is about a friend who died, so Dave plays it a lot to honor his fallen comrade. Much like Why I Am.

So the real question is: Who do we have to murder to get Dreaming Tree played non-stop this year?

Jimi is a great song but it has been jammmmmmmmed down our gullets i think it needs a break. Dreaming Tree is one of their best songs along with Spoon and they both need to be played a lot more.

Nostalgia one for me is always Gorge 2007. Opened the whole weekend and has Time Bomb riff in the outro, just a really great one.
