You’re looking on the wrong site. Tickets for Idaho are for sale through the venue

Ah I stand corrected odd that Ticketmaster would have resale tix but then the venue has it's own box office.

I retract my Boise sellout statement the entire west coast don't deserve anything nice from DMB ever again in the fall lol.

Lol you’ve been pontificating how everyone from California has been moving to Boise and it’s a new hotspot for DMB. Saying how this show will sell out instantly and be a huge win for the band.

I wonder if we'll get an album announcement this week. With 6 weeks lead time, that would put the release date in mid-November. They can debut the material during the Tour. Another week and you'd be looking at a release Black Friday week.

Alpine is now an every other year thing…. Next year will be northerly, or potentially wrigley baed on the rumors in this thread.

ZBB is managed like the world will end next year. They take swings for maximum money (new album! side project! stadium shows! a wine!) and it dilutes the brand. Not to mention their live show sometimes is 40% covers.

It goes into the rumors of stadium shows with DMB in only this way - DMB seems to have a lock on 10,000 people at every show and it is the rest of the crowd that they have to work to attract. If you do dynamic pricing at a stadium show you probably maximize profits(the best 10,000 seats go for $200+, the seats in the uppper levels go for $50 or less) as compared to an amphitheater but who wants to be in a 60% full crowd seeing the same DMB show you would see at your local shed?

    Northerly sucks.

Chicago traffic is always a nightmare.

    Parking's a nightmare.

Limited ways to get inside cause huge backups - took an hour+ to just get in last year.

Lawn sucks, yes, but the overall sound sucks. The D&T shows in 2017 are so forgettable cuz the sound, just, sucked.

Find me one good, hell, even solid setlist from that venue. For whatever reason the band just doesn't bring it when they come to Northerly. Even those D&T shows I referenced were the worst on that tour.

    That venue is trash

It's probably the worst music venue I've ever been to, and, if not the worst, it's near the bottom of list that DMB regularly plays.

Weird response. Horrid takes. I think Chicago is a beautiful city.

However, Chicago is the 2nd most congested city in the United States for traffic, above LA and NYC - https://www.usnews.com/news/cities/a...ffic-in-the-us

Chicago traffic sucks. It's terrible. Residents will tell you that, visitors will tell you that.

    Also, Northerly is absolute trash.

Bears loss hitting you in the feels today huh?

I'm going to take a different angle on this. I'd like to thank Northerly because it was so terrible and I said I would never go back that it forced me to drive 20-30 more minutes (in the middle of both venues) to discover the Creek. Thank you for sucking in 2014 Northerly. I'll never forget GGT being cut there for curfew.

The difference between the atmosphere, energy, and song choices between Northerly & Alpine are night & day. Anyone who doesn't see that is just turning their head away from the facts.

That alone separates the venues greatly, not to mention all the little things I said before like gate-time, etc...

If they are planning on a couple of 30K+ Wrigley Field shows, seems highly unlikely they play either NI or Alpine.

Live in the Chicago suburbs. Northerly is trash. The museum campus is trash for events. Why do you think the bears are going to Arlington heights and not looking back. Yes soldier is small but the lack of parking plays a huge roll.

The band treats it as such also. Look at the sets played there. It’s not covered, acoustics suck. Should’ve kept it an airport. If they are gonna play Chicago area, just go to tinley, sound is better, which says a lot for how bad northerly is.

I went to Chicago in between Creekend and Alpine and I can attest the traffic is wilder than NYC. Went to a white sox game the sunday after deer creek N2 and then from the south side ballpark to Evanston after the day game took me an hour. The wild thing about Chiraq as someone who routinely drives in NYC and Boston traffic (I live in CT) is having to merge 6 lanes in bumper to bumper traffic from the express lanes to the local lanes to the exit for Guaranteed Rate. Then leaving the ballpark having a bunch of merges as I face in NYC and Boston but the traffic literally being much more at a standstill for longer.

I parked rental in an Evanston town garage for 3 days and gladly enjoyed subway travel to everything else for the remainder of the trip until I hit up green bay.
