almost exactly what i think...
drunken soldier
snow outside (you could tie these two. i flip flop all the time already. the best 2 songs dmb has put out in a LONG time. amazing)
Broken Things
Rooftop
Belly Belly Nice
Riff (4-6 are pretty interchangeable) and i think these 6 are clearly better than the rest of the songs
If Only (something about this song, i really like it. ED and SU are such bad albums, but several of the songs off ED, IIHIA/STDH types, if dmb were to re-write some of that garbage, fire ballard, and make it better, their way? If Only would be the song. It (and so right) would be the best songs on the disc. But for AFTW, it's 7th...mighty strong album to me)
Gaucho- reminds me of so many really good songs that create a unique sound (minarets, last stop, type songs) the weak lyrics doesn't help, but don't kill it either. but the kids choir? such a downer moment. again, the song structure, musically, it's actually a very good song, but the overall strength of the album and a downer moment like choir. it's low)
Mercy- it's not bad in any way shape or form. but nothing about it stands out, especially compared to the rest.
Belly Full
Sweet (both interchangeable again. I feel like the verse structure in most of the songs is quiet and an acoustic driven sound. didnt need almost 2 full songs of dave just dave. one would have been fine, but both? unnecessary. so you could actually either change one of these or just take one off the album and add a full band song for me. )
and again, even these bottom two, i am fine listening to them both. they aren't terrible by any means. just not what i would have wanted on the album.
