Both....aftw is very slightly thicker than BW

I believe it's 150g vinyl. It's rare you'll see vinyl pressed on less than 120g.

Weight has very little to do with quality though, all weight does is help to make records a bit more durable when it comes to breakage and warpage.

Does it have anything to do with quality? I honestly thought that the weight was strictly for durablilty purposes.

Cannot believe I paid $10 to have this shipped to me.

One thing I noticed... If I remember, Big Whiskey's art (lyric pages) were actually all hand-written by Dave, but now it looks like they actually made a Dave Matthews font!

Looks hand-written, but it's just typed. Vinyl was beautiful, no issues playing-wise for me. I do have a shitty record player, though, so I have low expectations.

Not impressed with this vinyl really. The download that came with it sounds better. The vinyl doesn't have any depth to it, and the bass and the highs don't come through as clear as the digital version does. And it's sped up. Also not as great artwork as Big Whiskey. I put them next to each other. Big Whiskey blows it away detail wise.

Is it a laser turntable? If not have you ever got a good answer what the problem is? Black vinyl is simply vinyl with carbon added for colouring.

Yeah, it's an automatic arm so for AFTW I just manually place the needle down. Not ideal but it gets the job done! Loving this album.

yeah, they do sound great. Technically it's my parents' but I'm the only one that uses it so it's coming with me when I move out.
