It seems as if RyanP421's M.O. around here is to start unprovoked problems with people.

Be gone little boy, be gone.

If that sort of thing is all you're going to add you can kindly leave

If you watched the game or saw the k zone you'd know it's a 100% fact that the pitch Ortiz started his hissy fit over was a strike.
That's your opinion though. Others disagree. And after seeing the game, I am one of those who disagree. The problem I have is your talking down to those who disagree and how you claim it as fact that you're right and everyone else is wrong.

    Hardly.

It does seem however that your M.O. is to talk down to those who disagree with you while being childish "be gone little boy" in the process.

Anyhow...I saw the game, and I think both pitches were balls. The first one where McCann was crossed up is actually closer of the two to being a strike because it isn't where he catches it, it's where it crosses the plate. Now with that being said, I don't think it was a strike, but I can understand that it was close, so he called it a strike.

Now as for the pitch he rang Ortiz up on...That was a ball. The "rule" that when you argue balls and strikes and get rung up on anything or have to "swing cause it's close" is ridiculous and only bad umpires subscribe to it. Farrell was right in saying that Ortiz needed a hockey stick for that pitch.

I think the first questionable pitch was just that...QUESTIONABLE. To sit here and say it was 100% a strike and anyone who disagrees is wrong is also just that. WRONG.

Throughout the game and season, this umpire sucks anyway. Continually having poor judgement of the strike zone, which is a big problem for an umpire.

Every time you engage with somebody an argument ensues.

Based on k zone it was a strike, based on seeing it it was a strike.

    I'm sorry you disagree.

Based on K zone, more of the ball was off the plate than it was on the bottom outside corner.

And everyone else thinks it was either close or a ball.

I'm actually NOT shocked. I even read a post the other day from these Yankee fans talking how poor the Ellsbury signing was and how they always hated the signing of Ellsbury. I did some research and found some posts by those same posters back when Ellsbury was signed and those posts would say otherwise. The hypocrisy and idea that everything they think is fact is hilarious to me.

The video cuts out before there is a still shot of where the ball is.

Pitch 5 looks like a strike to me:

    https://i.imgur.com/CdKLFVg.jpg

But hey it's a fact so it's not actually true

Look, I get that the called strike 3 was a bad call, but it was close enough where it can go either way. I have more issue with Ortiz being a whiny jackass. So great to see him get tossed last night, he looked like an idiot
