Bands on what level? Amphitheater and arena bands? No way. Most touring bands at that level have already cancelled/postponed to next year. Well, maybe not most but literally every single one I had a ticket for.

This is said just about every time there is a Charlottesville show. The truth is the ticket is extremely easy to get even at JPJ. They wouldn't get close to selling out Scott Stadium.

Yep, especially 2 nights. From 2001-

    Quote:
"The ticket demand for the first show greatly exceeded our expectations and our plans. While I initially thought the fans and the community would be further benefited by the addition of a second show, I now believe we should work within the limits of one show. The April 21st event will generate more than $850,000 for the Bama Works Fund. To date, ticket sales for the second show do not assure sufficient additional net proceeds for the charitable fund to justify the strain on the community that the second show may bring."
Translation: Sales for the second show are weak.

True, but I really think it could be different this time if the economy is even remotely okay. There is a good chance these hypothetical shows could be the first major event most of us have the opportunity to attend in over a year. Unless you went to Vegas it's the first DMB show in over 2 years. It's the 30th anny. They could structure the tickets to be more affordable since there would be so much supply.

I don't by any means think Scott Stadium is likely, but it could be possible. All I want is at least one night at JPJ for the 30th. I love Cville and haven't been since the 25th anny.

Is anyone else not getting the refund option in their TM account? Got the email, says I have until June 4, but not seeing anywhere to request said refund in my account.

If the 25th Anniversary show didn't bring the demand, I just do not see it 5 years later, when currently 20+ million people do not have jobs.

We are still 12 months away. I hope the job situation is far better then than it is now regardless of if the show happens or not

I think it's time to stop believing that DMB could sell out a stadium show at this point regardless if it's a milestone event.

Not sure why anyone would want it anyway.

Maybe if it’s one show the whole year, and in a pretty central location like a Nashville.

For the record I dont want a stadium show. I cant imagine a worse type of venue to experience live music.

Having been to both Mile High and Texas Stadium for shows, I agree with this statement.

I was able to get a refund for extra tickets i had. Never got an email, but when i clicked into the tickets on Ticketmaster (on laptop, not phone) there was a refund option. Took about 2 weeks, but the refund just hit my CC today. Sorry i dont have a screen shot of what it looks like, but it was obvious when you clicked in to the ticket/order.

Mine too, in late September. Saw 3 shows on the tour last year and it was tremendous.

Appears Long Island (my home) is considering Drive In Concerts. There's plenty of room to do them but I am still very very skeptical.

That video shows a screen in the model... like a broadcast? If so, that'd be a pass for me. If I'm just going to watch a broadcast, I'd rather do it from home.

As to the general idea, I'm curious how bathrooms and concessions will work with distancing.

I'm thinking hologram concerts in full tour will be next some how or virtual reality. Just put on your helmet and you're live at the concert.

Honestly, the next step is just live performances from studios or small venues being streamed. As soon as individual bands feel comfortable being in the same room they can happen.
