Anyone have any experience with Sec 101? I'm Row 19, seat 32. It doesn't seem terrible sight line wise, but being stuck that far in to the section might cause me some anxiety.

Since the tour is canceled this year, my friends and I are thinking going to the Gorge in 2021. Even though I read the great document prepared at the beginning of this tread I have so many questions. I can wrap my head around the ticket price. My flight is a real guess considering we have no idea of the prices for next year. My biggest question is camping. Seems that the only option left is the standard camping. Considering the situation, do you think people would sell their ''premier'' camping spots for next year ? Is the premier worth it ?

Premier is worth it; they'll be available over the next 16 months

    Running while at The Gorge?

Woohoo can't wait for my first Gorge experience this year!!! I will be training for a half-marathon during that time and have a 4-mile run and an 8-mile run scheduled for that weekend. Anyone else completed runs of this length while camping at The Gorge? Suggestions on places to go run or places to avoid are welcomed. Thanks!

I ran out through the main gate where you enter for camping and went right. I believe that is Silica Rd (I recall running past Cave B on my right), ran until I hit 3 miles on my watch and then turned around and headed back. I never the left the road I started on. Traffic was light early in the morning and it is wide open so you can see oncoming cars. You have to do this early because by 9am it is hot and there will be no shade whatsoever on the run. There were a few other runners on the road too. I had big plans to run at least twice because I had a race coming up two weeks after but only ran Friday morning. You won't suffer in terms of training if you end up running only once. Besides it's your first time at Gorge enjoy the concerts and sleep in.

Hey all, just went though like 40 pages and can't find the answer I'm looking for. I'm sure it's in here somewhere ... what is everyone's experience leaving on the Monday after the shows from the campground? Is it a disaster or is it pretty easy to
Venture out to get to the highway?

It's not an issue. People trickle out as the morning progresses. It's not a mess at all.

I didn't backread and don't know if this is even a thing, but is it possible to buy a season pass at the Gorge and see all the summer concerts there and just live in your same tent for 3 months or park your Winnebago for 3 months and stay there? I don't know if anyone does except hardcore concert fans that have the $$$$, but wasn't sure if such a package existed if you wanted to do it. Thanks.

I do not know about the season pass for concerts, but I very very very much doubt they'd let you stay on site that long...at some point you become a tenant (certainly before 3 months passes)

That's a good point and I don't know if they can build that into the fee of the 3 month stay. I mean, if people are willing to pay the $$$$ and it's cheaper to camp then stay in a hotel, I can see it happening I just don't know if the sites are like "well if you're going to pay the fee to stay, we'll package it in." I know there's tons of hardcore fans of concerts in general and the Gorge, to some is the Zenith and with everyone wanting to travel now all over the U.S. after the past 18 months, I just didn't know if this was a thing and there were a community of concert goers that actually partake in something like this.

no no no, it's not a matter of paying a fee, it's the matter of the rights that being a tenant affords a person. at that point they have to jump through hoops to make you leave.

I believe you can buy season tickets to Gorge shows. https://livenationpremiumtickets.com...e-amphitheatre

But that's just the venue. You'd have to find your own accommodations if you wanted to stay nearby all summer. RV parks, long-term rentals, etc.

You could probably buy a 1/4 acre around there and park your RV

The Cave B Inn, now Sagecliff Resort, rents camping spaces, maybe you could talk to them about a long-term rental

Any good resorts or nicer places to stay within about an hour of the Gorge? Thinking of future trips, I imagine everything is booked for this year.

I’ll be staying with some friends in gold camping, but I need to park my rental car somewhere. I was told there might be a parking lot near Wildhorse campground that I could leave my car for the weekend. Does anyone know if that is the case? Or would I be better off buying a GA camping pass to park the car?

dubstylee, I just PM'd you about a GA camping pass that I have available. I'll let it go for under face, since you'd only need it for your car and I was able to upgrade to gold camping myself. Let me know on PM if you're interested!

    Hi,
We are having to cancel our house reservation in Cresent Bar. It is a 2 bedroom unit that sleeps 4. It is unit B38. The contact agent is named Debbie Park and the number is 509-787-2665.

If you rent it, it will get us out of our contract which will help a lot! The location of this community is perfect and also has beautiful views of the Columbia Gorge.

Also, if you are interested, I have 3 nights of Warehouse Premium tickets for sale for face + fees. 2 nights pit, 1 night reserved.

PM me if you have any questions or want to buy! Thanks!

First Gorge weekend this year…. How easy is it (or even possible) to make day trips into town for supplies from campsites?

Easy. Heck, we've done day trips to Yakima for white-water rafting, Walla Walla for wineries, Moses Lake 3x in 2018 for daily golf, Ellensburg, etc. Maybe a little tougher getting out of a cramped/blocked spot in General, but can still be done.

And there's a General Store there, if you're just looking to pick up things you may have forgotten

Yes, expect 100% markup on items; beer, ice, coolers, sunscreen, aspirin, hoodies, etc. think of it as a small, expensive convenience store. Good variety, will easily survive the weekend even if you didn't bring anything with you. But you're in the middle of nowhere

But, like you implied, a quick trip to Quincy or other localities could save you money if you're able to travel during the day. It may still be marked up due to seasonality, but not as much as on site.

So I have tickets and campsite for N2 and 3. Would be flying in on Friday and driving from Seattle. I'm not totally sold on going now. Had these tickets since last year and have always dreamed of going to the Gorge to see Dave. Flying from east coast. I'm just afraid it's all gonna fall apart and I refuse to wear a mask the entire time in a concert. That's why I haven't booked my flight yet. Car is reserved though. Change my mind on going lol. I'm coming by myself too. I'm hesitant to make the trip that far away by myself.
