I could never ever see George being the one to sit next to a total stranger in an empty theatre. I am not a massive Seinfeld fan (not in the sense of disliking it or feeling meh toward it, it’s just a show where I haven’t ever actually watched it in huge chunks), so I could be wrong, but based on what I have seen, it feels like something totally out of character for George to do that.

okay this totally makes sense, I gotcha now. I think I was coming at it from the POV that George is just so often annoying to other people anyway in many other scenarios

then the dudes calmly turn toward each of you from their sides and say "So, WE always go by the rule that if you show up to the theater on a weekend matinee and there's only one other couple besides you that you wind up swinging with them... that's a common thing you two follow, too, right?"
I mean what the FUCK?? I ever saw something like that I'm thinking turns out I need a veeeeeery long bathroom break.
Next to you and your wife were at least the first seats they took at all, right? like they weren't already in there and then came around to join you

when I was buying my End Game ticket online for the first showing Friday morning, it was either Tuesday or Wed night, I bought literally the last seat available in that screening room, it was in the very back row, all the way to the right. like technically it was usually meant for someone accompanying a handicap customer, if the space would be needed for however busy it is. and maybe it was because the theater wasn't all that massive to begin with, even being over and back that far, my view was perfectly fine. obviously I wasn't straight on the screen, but didn't hinder my experience.
