Why would teams tank if other teams own their draft picks? This doesn’t make sense. You can analyze teams and think they are a lottery team years into the future without tanking even being a factor.

A move like this would have to be implemented and done 5 years out I’m guessing. A lot of teams would have an issue with it. Obviously Celtics would. The lakers/kings pick they traded a #1 pick for is a lot less valuable instantly.

To be fair, Love is still injured.

I'm pretty pumped about Nance. His dad was great. I think if he gets starters minutes, he's averaging a double-double easily.

But yeah, Bron Bron has still got it.

You'd have to put in a few year grace period, but that's he best system.

No one knows at this point. Don't believe any reports until LeBron announces it.

As Bridge said, there's been reports that the Rockets can't actually do it financially.

Does it even make sense for the Rockets to do it? Makes them better in theory but I like their chances against the Warriors this season, without Lebron so I'm not sure trying to move heaven and earth to get him is worth it.

I think this is a very good and very valid question. Everyone assumes that it'd make them unbelievably good and no one would be able to top them but that's another dominant ballhandler. Let's see how this season plays out first.

And to be clear, at this point, I'm fine with whatever LeBron does.

LeBron going to Houston will effectively kill their bench and everything that has made them into who they are.

Lakers are the best fit if Paul George goes with him.

    1. Lonzo 2. Ingram 3. George 4. Kuzma 5. LeBron

That's a legit starting 5 that can score a ton of points.

I read an article a while back that talked about what we can expect to see out of an aging LeBron as he gets on into the twilight of his career and it said to not be shocked if he at some point switches into a stretch 5 role.

That starting 5 would be terrible. They would get eaten alive inside, Kuzma cannot play C.

Which is why I'm fine with whatever he does. I'd obviously love to see him get another one or two with the Cavs but the Warriors are ridiculous right now.

I dont want LeBron. We have so much bench depth right now, would have to get rid of some essential roleplayers.

Oh, that lineup also has no shooting. Lakers are one of the worst three-point shooting teams in the league. Adding George and Lebron doesn't really move the needle too much.

I like to use career averages.

Again, I like to use career averages. Regardless, the Lakers shooting 34 percent from three this year. At best, George and Lebron get them to the league average. Not sure how good an average three-point shooting lineup with no big man is going to go over. That's the point I'm making.

Vary depressed about last nights choke against the warriors knowing we have OKC, Houston, and Minnesota next....was not even a little bit nervous about missing the playoffs til this morning tbh

    Toronto/Rockets, Cavs/Clips, Blazers/Warriors, should still be a good day
