How? At 9:57, I joined the per-queue. My understanding is you are placed randomly in line once the queue opens. Once it did open, I was in 2000+ spot. When I finally got to see tickets, it was 10:10, and at that point only premiums were available.

Did you just get lucky and get put in the front of the line? At what point did you secure the tickets?

Just curious how it works, thanks!

I got a pair in 204 for N1. I was able to get N2 and N3 through the Warehouse, so N1 was all I was missing. There are a lot of tickets available for N3 and a few for N1. N2 is only platinums right now. I'm sure more will become available on the boards and in drops leading up to it, though.

I didn't see any type of queue. I just entered my Citi card number as the presale code and kept refreshing until something decent popped up. Pulled the trigger around 10:45am.

I thought I was doomed. I was also in the queue at 9:45 and at 10 I saw practically NOTHING for Citi. Then, when I just picked some lawn tickets to see the camping options, premiere camping wasn't available, so I bailed because that's all I really wanted. Then I got back into the queue about 10:15 on the same computer and I was locked out. Finally, changed browsers, got back into the queue around 10:30 and a bunch more Citi seats were available as was Premiere. So I think it was more about persistence than being first in line.

Generally you get the best seats during the presales anywhere between 20-30 min AFTER the resale "starts"

Agreed. This is when I had the pits show up, even though they then kept saying that someone else had already taken them.

Yup, rule of thumb is don't stop trying for at least 45 minutes. With that said, I got absolutely nothing today. First time ever.

I looked into it early in the process and I think after fees it was close to $1550. I could be wrong about the exact number but I know it was between a tad north of $1500.'

Random question. I got a premium package, and on my ticket status page for section 102 it says "Sight/Hearing" next to the seat location. For ya'll that have sat around there before, is there any hearing or sight issues there, or is that just a CYA statement from the Warehouse? Just curious. Thanks.

That generally means they are seats for the sight/hearing impaired

Yep, Warehouse holds some of the rows in 102 for SIght/Hearing impaired requests, and when those requests don't come in they're used for Premiums. Row 21 by chance??? Great seats, they do this for some other venues as well; folks often ask about that wording.

Oh that makes total sense. And yep! Row 21. I've been doing WH requests since 2007 and it's amazing how little I still know after all this time haha.

It probably wasn't the wisest thing to do premium for The Gorge, but I've never been before and wanted to go the extra mile. Figured it was worth a shoto try and get great seats instead of just requesting regular tickets and getting stuck with stuff on the sides that I would get rid of anyway.

The others are correct. I actually had these exact seats last year and saw that same thing. The seats are awesome! Show up to your seat at 8:10 and be right behind PIT.. can't beat it. Enjoy

Grabbed my return flight this morning. Delta, direct for $230. Combined with the outgoing flight on AA direct for $100, I think I did well.

Also, on my Amex card, I just received an amex offer for $100 of $350 for Audi's silver car rental. It's too far out to book, but something to check for and possibly keep in mind if you have an amex card.

I think premium is worth it at every venue (unless you request premium pits, which I'll never understand)

I did premium N2 of the gorge last year and I wish I'd done it every night

Premium pit is only worth it for the venues with tiny pits - SPAC, WPB, DTE

(I've been told both SPAC and DTE are only 250 people, not sure about other pits)

I ended up finally getting sec 202 row 16 for the Saturday show. Nothing special, but I've got PIT Friday through the Warehouse so I'm not complaining.

N1 PIT is probably the best night to be in PIT. It's the least crowded. N3 is a literal pit.

N1 will be my first time ever in any PIT--unless I score some tix to shows prior. I'm excited! I don't really have any desire to be on the rail, so I will probably mosey in at T-45

Last year I walked into the pit on N1 half way through Moon Taxi's set and could easily get into the middle of it with plenty of room, you should be fine

You can't get rail unless you spend the night on gravel anyway. Good call on T-45! Never been a fan of standing around all day to be close.

We must have been really close to each other. We did the same thing, but I think as Moon Taxi started. We were a few feet left from dead center probably 7-10 people back. Great spot.
