I feel like peoples minds are made up regardless of the ideas a candidate is running on. Trump people were voting for Trump and Hillary people for Hillary. Sure they were polar opposites on a lot of key issues but in my opinion those issues really didn't matter. Some may have wrote healthcare as a major factor just to write something. That doesn't necessarily mean that that voter was 'torn' based on that issue. Ironically, the exit interview is probably the first time that many voters are reminded that the election is a battle of political ideology, not personality.

I 100% believe this all goes back to Obama roasting Trump at the White House Correspondent's Dinner. Trump felt personally attacked by those comments, which he should have.

Trump has probably never heard the phrase 'what goes around, comes around' so that blow was way too much for him to handle.

FWIW, healthcare is a huge topic here. It was definitely at the forefront of the campaign.

It's been a while since I've watched a press conference so I could be wrong. It just seems like reporters are trying to stay PC/respectful of tradition/whatever, when they should be saying - in more or less words - "thats not a good enough answer. try again"
